I have an eleaf 100w but I don't like the way it hits compared to different mods which is why I am going to get a new mod. I was thinking of the rx2/3 or smoant battlestar but want to get some opinions on them or suggestions if there is a better dual battery mod. thanks

The way it hits in vw or tc mode? How many watts are you vaping at?

Just curious if you're getting close to the limits with resistance and wattage or if you have or haven't played with the tc settings. For instance in tc (may not apply to you) the memory settings allow you to alter the tcr for ss316L, the preset for SS isn't the same. Also you can adjust the wattage up/down in tc mode if it's taking awhile to heat up to temp. If temps are set at 400F how fast it gets there depends on whether you have it at 20w or 40-50w.

I have the eleaf100w model which is not TC, but currently Im using a .6 ohm coil at 50 watts. I did have an xcube2 but bought this as a replacement when it broke which was about 5 months ago. Normally I use coils that are around .3 ohms though and when I compare the way that the xcube would vape compared to the eleaf, the xcube was much better.

Ah ok. Yea I don't think there's any way to change the way it hits in vw. Maybe it's a limitation in the circuitry. I currently don't have anything to compare it to, the smok alien's been pretty popular. I think hohmtech's mods are also pretty popular for the fsk chip (solid hit). They've got variable modes I believe that allow you to set things like power. The wrecker g2 is a dual 18650 and the slice is a single 26650.

If you tried others that you liked better, get one of those, LOL

If you're wanting smaller form factor, Smok Alien or Smoant Battlestar are great mods.
The Hohm Tech Hohm Wrecher G2 has a great board with many capabilities including TC on kanthal.
There are a million mods on the market so without knowing more of what you want from a mod it'll be difficult to make solid suggestions.
As Whiskey said, if you have tried some that you know you like, those may be the ones you want to look at.

Your eleaf100 was a fair mod.
They followed that with the TC100 that not only added TC mode (only fair rating) but also the fire bar, dual or single 18650 capability, smaller form, and very comfortable.
But many new devices have came out since with better technology.

Yea and you could be useful and not waste my time but did you do that nope
I think you misunderstood the advise that she was providing.
She wasn't being rude and certainly wasn't providing useless information.
She was simply stating that if you have tried other mods and liked how they worked for you, those may be the ones you want to look further into getting.
No one is being rude here, please remain calm and keep your arms and feet inside the vehicle at all times.

I guess we have different opinions then

I love my sigelei 213 and 213 Fuchai. Both are small for dual battery and also have a setting for a preheat. It is nice because it almost eliminates ramp up time. Also, like I stated, the size is really nice. Very small for a dual battery mod.

Here is a pic of the Fuchai 213 which is basically identical to my 213 but it is black instead of carbon fiber.

You named two mods, but phrase your question in a way to imply you are looking for info/opinions on other mods as well. However, you don't give any information on which to make a suggestion. You don't list what you don't like about your current mod, or what you liked about the two you listed. Saying you don't like 'the way it hits' is like asking for car recommendations because you don't like how your Civic drives.

Getting defensive at flippant responses isn't going to help that. Please add more clarity about what you're looking for.

OK, I'll keep playing. The Wrecker G2 is better, and dual 18650. Who knows if you'd like it or not, but I can confidently say it is 'better' in every regard I would consider as pertinent.

I have a 213, love it and use it everyday. However, the OP should know (if he doesn't already) the 213 / fuchai mods do not do temp control on any material. If TC is not an issue, the 213 or fuchai is a great choice. A lot of people around here really like the battle star but I have no experience with it. I don't own a 2/3 but do have the RX200 and love that one as well. I have handled a 2/3 in my local shop and I didn't like the feel or looks of the battery door.

What's your budget?

I may have misunderstood, it sounded to me like the issue with the istick is that there's a delay or something in heating the coil or perhaps taking too long to heat the coil up at the given resistance and power. At least that's what I thought of when the op said they didn't like the way it hits, I could be wrong. Like maybe as part of the battery/circuit protection there's a metered ramp up time to prevent being hard on the batteries.

I think the new 213 Fuchai Plus aka 223 is supposed to be able to do TC. My concern is whether the 5 clicks to lock or unlock would get extremely annoying. Never saw a Battlestar live, though it looks a little pudgy in the pics.

I can't help but suggest my best mod in terms of all features a buyer could want. Get the Smok Marshall G320 box mod without the tank kit set for under 60 bucks all over the net. I don't see why not. RX200S is now 250W and those screens look cool I would also consider those if you only have 45 bucks total. 55 gets you the triple battery marshal mod that'll likely last you 10 months to over one year if it doesn't get wear and tear issues from regular use for that long. Great machine!

I been doing that with my Sigelei 100+ for two years. It's not a big deal....it becomes second nature, really.

That said, I'm used to doing it with a single finger. When my Smok Alien comes in, it'll be interesting to see how long it takes me to get used to pressing the bar 5 times. At least I won't have to aim for a button anymore.

If you wick on the mod and realize half-way through that you forgot to lock it, having to use the fire button is inopportun. Otherwise, I've never had a problem with it.

There are a lot of good mods around, SMOK have the Alien and the G-Priv that many people like, lots of people like HohmTech devices, lots of people like DNA powered devices. Honestly there are a lot of good mods around what kind of price range are you looking at?

Got my Smok Alien kit today. Really love it. It's smaller than my Segelei 100+, but heavier (weird). I'll have to get used to holding a smaller mod, and squeezing the bar. I miss the 5-click turn-off already. Just have to get used to using the +/- lock, I guess.

That said, it is an awesome vape. :D

The Lost Vape Therion DNA 166 is a phenomenal mod, if you are already leaning towards the Hexohm.

Whiskey is only saying the truth, no need to be defensive. Also, any new vape to you is going to be awesome - until you use it long enough to notice its drawbacks. It happens to all of us!

I have 2 Eleaf 100w non tc mods..Not sure what it is that doesnt give a good hit...20 watts is 20 watts 50 watts is 50 watts.. Its quite possible 50 watts on the eleaf may only be 43 watts and maybe 48 on another mod but, that's what the wattage button is for...Put it where you like your vape no matter what mod it is...If you think a new mod will change things then by all means get something else...For me personally, all my mods have a wattage setting that gives me the vape im looking for.
