WARNING! I don't really recommend this. It is a joke (kinda)... But those freshly mixed juices that need a week or two of fine aging? Hmmm... LOL

So, I just just pulled my laundry out of the dryer and found that I left a unicorn bottle of juice in the pocket of one of my pants. The bottle was still sealed and kind of warm. First thought was how happy I was that it didn't explode all over my clothes! My second thought was HEAT+TUMBLING=YUM! I have a couple of mixes I may leave in my pockets that need a little love.

Now, I don't condone, guarantee, recommend or even want to hint that doing this is on purpose is a good idea, but I will just say, I'm vaping it now and it's really nice!

Where's that Emoji? Oh yeah...

"Yeah but it's a dry heat".

Seriously though, if it works, what could be easier than shake and bake in a dryer? Kill two birds with one stone. Worst that could happen is the bottle breaks and you end up with a week's worth of raspberry scented laundry.

I'd have to sneak them in. The wife would kill me if one of them broke! LOL

I would also have to recommend against this as a steeping method because cleaning the dryer of this mess will be a bear of a job. I left a Chapstick in my pocket which was a nasty clean up in itself.

I thought of that...:)

I am looking for a machine or tool that I can shake bottles. Preferably unattended.

Despite popular belief, air plays a more important part in steeping than heat does. I suggest a simple milk frother to mix your liquid for 3 minutes at 5 minute intervals. Four or 5 times should do it. I have actually compared the two methods and found air to be far superior. It'd be interesting to see if others will get the same results.

I agree and have same experienced of milk frother; after 3 times it's give me almost same steep result = 2 week of normal steep.

Nicotinated wearables--could this be the answer for those times you just can't vape?

Seriously, I have read on multiple threads of people that steep this way. They say they put the bottle in the ball part of a clean pair of socks (like when you roll a pair together) and then put them through a dryer cycle. Some said they used low heat, and some said they used regular cycle. They swore by it, said like a month of steeping. I've never tried it. If anyone does attempt this, maybe put the bottle in a ziplock bag before putting in a pocket or socks to prevent disaster in case of a spill? I think I'll just continue the putting it in a drawer and waiting impatiently while ranting about hating waiting method, while faking patience and zen....lol

I'm with you there. I always have multiple bottles of juice and if I need to steep something, I'll just set it to the side and shake it every once and a while. I've never seen where people actually did this on purpose! I won't actually be doing it this way, but I will say the zip lock bag is a great idea! LOL

I use a frothing mixer and then heat to around 140 Degrees for anywhere from 1/2 to an hour and I can vape it as soon as the mix clears. 3 to 4 hours tops. After weeks of sitting there is no discernible difference in the taste.

Works for me but do whatever you feel works better for you.

I also use a frother for mixing as well, and I put my bottle of vg in a big cup with hot water during mixing sessions to make it slightly thinner for mixing and easier to blend. Might jump start steeping, might not. Not really a scientist...lol. But, I don't heat steep. I have tried it, but I have had too many blends change flavor and get a "cooked" flavor that I don't care for. When I tasted a heat steeped bottle next to a time steeped bottle of the same recipe, I could taste a definite (for me unpleasant) difference. But that is the fun of diy....we all can adjust for personal likes/dislikes and cater to ourselves. That is one of the things I love about this group of people. We don't judge and/or argue that "your way" is wrong. Whatever works for YOU is right, and who cares if it's the same way another does something. I am thankful for the mostly (there will always be trolls) good group of people we have here!
