I'm looking to get a new Tank on Friday, I'm really not that happy with my Herakles so I'm going to replace it. I'm currently thinking of a Kanger Sub Tank, as the coils are cheap & easy to get, and I really like my Nano, when I had it. Anyone else have any other suggestions for a tank? Looking for decent air flow and good taste.

I'm really liking the OBS T-VCT tank I bought a couple of weeks ago. The tank is top fill with both juice and airflow control, and it holds 6 ml of juice. I actually liked this tank so much I bought another one for my G/F as she didn't have a sub ohm tank.
Yeti Vapes has them for $31.99, and you can get a good deal on a tank and juice bundle. I highly recommend this tank!

How hard is it to get replacement coils?

I too am digging my kanger nano...holy smokes!!! Was actually able to lung hit it today. Coils seem cost effective and last a good while. Got mine from baker vapor and am very pleased with their service. This has adjustable airflow...3mil pyrex glass tank. Comes with 0.5 and 1.2 coils. Bottom line is i could spend a ton of money trying different tanks. I recommend doing homework and lots of questions posted here. People here are great and wwant to help and educate. Sry...soap box :)

Easy, you can use the OCC Atlantis v2's if you want, temp control Atlantis coils too. The OBS coils are available a lot of places. I bought a Silo Beast (big capacity) and like that one too in addition to the OBS. Actually, both tanks are pretty much the same with the Silo Beast having a few ml's more capacity. Uses Silo coils, or Atlantis OCC V2 coils and temp control Atlantis coils too.

Yeti has the coils as well.
Zamazam, you say Atlantis v 2 coils will fit the OBS?

I really like the Kanger Subtank line (I have and use all three). The Nano sits perfectly on the VS DNA30, the Minis sit well on everything else, and the Plus is huge and only gets used on the Sig 50W. Great taste, coils last a good long time, vapor production is just fine in my book and they all provide for a great vape. If you like the Nano then you will like the others.

The Artic subtank is nice as well with cheap and easy to get coils. The only downside is that the airflow control spins freely so you might get a surprise when you are used to fully open and it has slid closed. Solid vape however, with a solid taste and great clouds. These coils go down to .2 and can handle up to 100 watts (for the BTDCs).

Check out the maganus tank, pretty legit. Great airflow and great taste. Quite a few people who have been vaping longer than me have tried mine then bought one after, some while standing in the local shop!

Hello all,
I use a Subtank Mini with ni200 coils on a IPV4. It really is my go to over a Atlantis and Melo, just good vapor.
One thing that bugs me though is it seems every Kanger coil ohms differently, I see .13 to .34 and everything in between. The Kangers are supposed to be .15, anybody noticed the same behavior, got any ideas?

Yes...the ohms do change. I've noticed this as well.

i bought a 5 pack
1 worked SEMI correct, others were all crap and read wrong.

There is something weird with SOME subtanks and TC being able to read resistance correctly. Make sure the base is clean and you practically over tighten the coil or rba deck, seems to work for me so far

Never even bother to fire a ni200 subtank coil that aint reading at .15ish

Just received mine today with extra coils and ni200. Coils are vert easy to find. I haven't vaped it yet but did unpack it and checked it out. Seems very well built and threads are incredibly smooth. Coils look very nice too. I had a full and active day today so tomorrow I will get it filled and out for a test spin. Oh yea the black version is super sharp looking.

I received a new Mini base today, with a new ni200 it ohmed .12 cold. I tore apart the old base, the insulator showed sine's of being burnt at the top, also used two pares of visegrips and took the thing apart, I found a sliver of stainless in the bottom. I have spoke with Kanger wholesale and they told me they have had complaints from quite a few customers, I think depending on how tight you screw the tank on the mod the insulators compress and somehow change the resistance. I never remember having this trouble with the .50 Kanthal, poor quality control and design flaws with the ni200. Kanger will sooner or later fix it. The woman I spoke with at Kanger told me they had been having these issues with their new K Boxes. Try tighting the thing on the mod and then back it off a half turn, that seems to work sometimes.
Just got a new Sigelei Elite II, so far better flavor than the Mini and much better airflow and clouds, thumbs up!

Freemax starre pro. Coils have been lasting about a week with 15-20 mls per day 0.25 ohm coil. Tank and coils are relatively inexpensive. Kanthal and nickel coils available. Great flavor and vapor production on par or even slightly better than the arctic. Easy top fill. Cons are no rba available. Some people have complained of leaking from the bottom which may be user error due to not turning the top part to the "off" position. 4ml tank capacity vs 5ml form previous versions. I tried the tfv4 but that thing is a beast! I don't want to get used to that much vapor. But if that's what you are looking for...

Hello all,
Kanger has released Vertical ni200 coils, I just ordered 5 from My Vapor Store. I hope they perform better than the horizontal coils, they got to have better airflow.

I am currently running one of the vertical Ni200 coils in a Subtank Mini on the iStick 40WTC. Working like a champ....just like the standard vertical OCC coils do....can't compare taste since I haven't tasted this juice in anything else yet.

I was tired of my Herakles- draw just OK and muted flavor.
I took the advice of a shop owner and tried the Aspire Triton stainless .4 ohm coil in it. WOW!!! A whole new ball game. The draw is so free, I had to step the vent down. Big clouds. The flavor is 100% better than I was getting before. Now, I only have to buy one coil and didn't have to get a new tank. Worth a shot.

How is the draw, air flow as compared to the horizontal Kanger ni200 coils, seems that Kanger changed something on the original ni200, for me the draw has become tighter and I mean the past three boxes have been much tighter than I remember as apposed to when I first tried the Kanger ni200.

I did not know that Kanger had horizontal Ni200 coils....I only have the verts. However, I do know that I prefer the standard kanthol vert coils over the horizontal one for draw, vapor, and flavor! So if Kanger had a horizontal Ni200 coil then the vertical ones should be much better!

Kanger ONLY has horizontal nickel coils. No vertical nickel yet.
If I'm mistaken, please let me know where to get them. I've been looking. Thanks.

Oh. Someone says my vapor store. I'll check it out

Thanks Vapin4Joy. I just ordered 4 myself. Haven't even tried the nickel horizontal yet, (just been doing the rba) but love the vertical kanthal.

Not yet. I will be ordering some today.
I find that I am running my tank probably a bit higher than most 510 F, at 43 W. So my coil life has been pretty short but it is great up to that point. I have the RBA all cleaned and ready to be built. Hopefully I will try to get to that tonight lolol.... I would be interested in hearing your thoughts once you get the NI200's

I tried stock .5 kanthal coil. Works well at 30w. I will share my thoughts on the ni200 with you when they come in. Efun had them for 10.99:)

Very Cool. I picked up the VCT, RBA and NI200's all at one time from Sweet-Vapes. One stop shopping lolol. I may try the Kanthal coil here just to see what kind of power they need to give the vape I like. The NI200 are .25 so I was using it around 40+ watts. Below 35 seemed to be too anemic for me. Any of the other .25 Ni200's that I used (Artic etc) were always above 40 so I thought that would be best.

You will need a temp sensing mod like the ipv4, ipv3 li, vapor shark, ni200 is very low ohm. Firing a ni200 coil on a standard regulated mod is not safe, it will fry your batteries.

Hello all,
Just got 5 Kanger Vertical ni200 coils, I mounted one on a Subtank Mini. First off it ohm at .385 on a ipv4, it is a .15 coil, fired it a few times let it cool down, checked the ohm .254, vapor production "eh". So far my personal opinion, don't waste your money, the horizontal performs better. I was hoping for a better draw, NO.
Man, Kanger lately has problems, I have other tanks that lately kill Kanger, I mean Freemax Starre, Sigelei Elite II, and I just got the Ewell Crown all smoking, big air, the Kanger is choking. Hey everything I say is my personal opinion.
Just disappointing a total waste of money.

i bought a pack of 5 NI200 horizontal coils and they all read wrong and did not work well. try over tightening them to the base to get the original reading to .15 before firing. But if you got the DVC ni200 coils for the freemax, they are pure heaven, just a pain with wicking well even in TC m ode when your tank get slow

I agree, I have the Freemax ni200 coils they are great, like I said, Kanger has issues I have spoke with Kanger tech they admit that the grommet at the base has a design flaw, I was hoping the vertical would have a fix, guess not.
I gotta tell you as far as ni200 tanks are concerned, the Sigelei Elite II is off the hook, check it out, it sells for 20 bucks coils 15 bucks for 5, the air flow is great, the flavor is great, the Ewell Crown, you have to try it to believe it.
For me Kanger goes to the back shelve for the time being, every now and then I will load a .50 kanthal no nickel.
I cranked the Kanger ni200 coil, any tighter it's going to break.
