It's not exactly a frequent occurrence, but it looks like Amazon Prime actually may outclass Netflix in the "new movie/TV offerings" department for July. As Netflix continues to focus heavily on its original content, of course.

But yeah, in July Amazon Prime's got '80s fare like Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, UHF, 48 HRS., and Dragonslayer. Plus, cult favorites like The Warriors and Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove along with Oscar nominated films like Glory and Gandhi. And on the TV front there's The Newsroom, Glee, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, and the HBO movie Behind the Candelabra.
