I have been wanting to get into making my own juice. With this list do you guys think it is a good list to start? I'm mostly into cream and custard type of Vapes..some tobaccos but imagine there harder to perfect.
Would you guys/ girls change or add anything to this list?
Thanks!

What level of pg/vg are you after, and nic level.
As I see it your base would be 50/50 at 24 nic. Add flavor and your pg goes up.
I start out 100 nic in vg. Mic my base at 80vg/20pg at 6mg nic. So most my juice comes out around 65 to 70 vg.

Is there a particular reason you are using 48mg base? And unless your alergic to PG i would suggest using PG 100 because it carries the nicotine much better, if you get a high mg VG base then it is advised to shake it for a WHILE before you use it, to ensure that you have no pockets of nic that could potentially be harmful. I avoid 48 just because the math isn't as easy with a 4.8% dilution compared to a 10% dilution. Also, only 1 10 mL bottle? you might regret not grabbing a few more. Also with syringes, just make sure you designate one for nic and rinse them out after use because the nicotine will degrade the plastic over time potentially harming your end result and lowering the shelf life on the syringe.

I am going all vg nic. Main reason is my mixes are high vg. And the amount and nic level I am after is cheaper this way.
Am I wrong in thinking this way. Or is my math off.
End result for my base woul be 80vg/20pg at .6 nic.
After adding flavors would increase pg 5 to 15% and drop nic level.

I got rid of the 120 ml bottles of vg and pg and went with 240 ml bottles.

No not at all. To each there own..I've heard n seen reviewers say higher nicotine levels don't taste as well. I'm new to this so I'm really only going of of what I've seen reviewers say..big Lou in particular but other then that I had the same logic before hand..d.k. if I should change it or not..also not sure if I'm good with the 120 ml bottles since I'm getting 240 pg and vg. My nicotine is vg base..

I prefer higher vg juice..didn't know it made a difference..again just going off of what I've learned from internet, hence why I'm here to ask..do you suggest I use higher nicotine? I'm only looking for 3 mg nicotine..=.3

Higher vg range. 70/30 or above favoring vg.. but may change from time to time..I definitely won't favor pg...I have changed to 240 ml of of and vg.. vg based nicotine, d.k. wether or not I should go up to 100 mg nicotine or not now tho...
I'm vaping at 3% on my lemo n don't even need the 3 if I drip..I go thru allot of juice

If I did my math correctly your base would be 600ml 360ml vg/ 240ml pg @9.6mg nic so ratio is 60vg/40pg. Doing this all short hand and has been a bit since I had to figure percentages. When I get home I can double check.

The list looks good enough. I think you'll eventually use 100mg like most of us but anything over your target will work great. If you do high VG then VG based nic base is probably best for you and you'll go through VG pretty fast.

Other than my ingredients and bottles all I use is 1ml syringes and 12ml syringes. One of each and an online calculator got me by for months.

For your level of nic need to drop your nic order more pg and vg.
For high vg mixes I want my base a bit higher than final product, for most flavors ar pg base so this will dilute the vg and nic in my base mix.
Yes I order my nic vg and pg than mix it all together at once.
My orders will come out to 80 vg 20 pg and enough nic in vg base to seop it down to 6 or below. Next order going no nic at all.
So for that to make a 1000ml I would order 800ml vg and 400ml pg. Going to try a few max vg mixes and see how they taste. May not need the pg. But want a slight throat hit.

Matter how your going to do your base. Bottle to bottle 100 is easier. To caculate. I do mine in jugs at a time. So I go 100mg and ordered 120 ml last time than did the math to get it down to 6mg with my pg to vg ratio.

If I'm using a flavor calculator online what difference does it make? I'm not looking to use this all in 1 batch..I'm sure I'm gonna run short on something n have to reorder but I'm not always gonna make the same vg pg ratio either.. sorry but I don't follow what your math is indicating. Could you elaborate for me?

Small batch at a time your good. I would do 100mg nic
Here is a reciepe for 1250 ml at 3mg nic I have.
100mg nic base
Nic base 37.5ml in vg
837.5ml vg
375ml pg
This is 30pg/70pg at 3mg

I make large batches and keep in the freezer. Than all I need to do is add flavor and go. Just works easier for me. And saves time when friends need a flavor made up.
With the caculator tou can use any base nic you want for they lay out what you need..

If you're not comfortable mixing with 100mg nic, DON'T. I bought exactly what you have listed the first time I ordered. I was really glad I did, because I got really nervous. Down the road you may feel better about mixing with something stronger, but don't push yourself. An eliquid calculator will do the math for you. Do what is best for YOU. And have fun. DIY is really fun. Very addicting, though.

Congrats on your decision to give it a try!

You are on the right track. Nic base at any strength you choose as long as it is over the desired strength of the juice. The thing here, as @Huckleberried said, is your comfort level with safety. So, nic base, PG, VG, flavor/s and a juice calculator. That's it. Easy peasy.

I think @wildcoy73 is using a different method some people like of making a basic nic base and then adding flavor later. Some people like to do it that way and it works for them. It's not a wrong way but as you noted, it has limitations and it's not very accurate when different flavor percentages are being used in different batches.

Thanks man, finally placed my order. Which seemed like it took forever to do haha...I'm definitely gonna stick to the juice calculator approach as the other method was confusing the shit out of me lol..doesn't get any simpler with a calculator..I'm good at math but still new to this shit lol... The only difference I see in higher mg base nic is expense, with 48 base I'm adding slightly more then double of 100 mg nic base.. if there is no difference in taste it does make sense to get 100 mg base but I'm going off of what I've learned from reviewers..maybe they were only speaking for beginners.. I d.k.

It's cheaper to get 100mg nic - that's why we do it. I started off, though, with 60mg nic and on the next order got 100mg nic. Just get what you're comfortable with!

There should be no difference in taste between strengths of nic base from the same vendor unless it's poor quality to begin with. VT nic is very popular for high quality so I don't think there should be an issue.

I don't think I've heard of a taste difference between different strengths before. I think all of the decorated DIY mixers of high quality juice use 100mg.

Grats on the order and taking the plunge.

I just suggested 100 mg pg because PG is easier to make homogeneous, thusly easier to dilute, and because it is so high, you use very little of it, and then you can fill the rest of your bottle with VG. As everyone above has said, if you don't feel comfortable using (or storing) a high mg nicotine then don't!
