New to making juice , have some questions .

Hello guys ! I've a few questions that i thought you experienced once would know .

These are what i have ,
Nicotine base 70VG30PG with 6mg/ml
Few concentrated flavours
Sweetener
Cooling agent
Distilled water

1) I've seen alot of recipes out there that states 10% flavoring . But when i mix my flavor and only put 10% it taste blend and it's also very very rough , it only becomes better after i add a few drops of sweetener , cooling agent and abit more flavoring . Any idea why ? :/ i havent steep it yet tho .

2) If i have to steep it before testing the best result of juice how do i know if im mixing it right ?

First off by running 70/30PG you really don't need any distilled water.

You say 10% flavor but don't mention the brand or flavor, makes a big difference sometimes.

A bit of sweetener sometimes helps ppl taste the main flavor better.

Some flavors need a steep, and some don't, but I do a minimum of 24hrs.

Harshness, or "Tickle", as you call it, could be from "not-so-great" NIC base.
(Try making a batch without any NIC to narrow it down)

make sure to shake your NIC well .. if it's cold (from refrig or freezer) It will need to be warmed up to room temp.. and with that high of a VG base for the nic it will be thick and need much more shaking to insure that the NIC distributes evenly.

(Flavors need to be shaken too!)
