It's been about four weeks since I decided I wanted to get into the hobby of vaping, about three weeks since I began researching on what to acquire, and 2 weeks since I started purchasing vape gear.

I never smoked, but something about vaping attracted me. 0 calorie sweets? rebuilding? shiny things? maybe it was many things that contributed to my desire to vape. I chose to begin my journey with simple items which my research led me to the Eleaf Pico + Melo 3 tank. I picked up 2 of them for around 50 dollars and it seemed like a good way to try vaping without diving in too far financially. I think I made the right choice; I have purchased many other items since then, and I still use the Pico/Melo combo. I also ordered an Atlantis 2 tank with a bunch of replacement coils (love the Atlantis coils for the Melo, but the Melo is IMO better than the Atlantis 2). While the Melo and atomizer cartridges are very convenient and leave a small footprint, they didn't satisfy every situation for me, especially in tank capacity. I will say they are easy to refill though.

After reading a ton of articles, watching hours of YouTube videos and spending time lurking in forums, I decided I wanted to build my own attys and have more control over my vaping experience. I started with RTA's and once those arrived I quickly ordered some RDA's. This included all kinds of wicks and wires and tools that looked cool on YouTube. My god this was the right step. Building coils and messing with ohms and voltage is super fun. I've received 4 or 5 RBA's so far. I also found out that I needed (wanted?) new mods since the Pico only fit 22mm atomizers and only powered atty's to 75 watts. I chose to go with a couple of Wismec RX200S mods as they fit my need for power and longevity. My goodness, quality of vape changes so dramatically with different devices, atomizers, coils and wicking which lends to a never ending hobby full of tinkering and testing. A very enjoyable hobby indeed. I find that wicking seems to be the most critical aspect in vaping but what do I know.

The biggest surprise for me is the sheer volume of things I have ordered or are on order currently. I lost count, but I have tons of packages coming including a large clone army coming from Fasttech. Why clones? Why not? I think I made 5 separate orders just this morning. I never enjoyed checking the mail as much as I do now.

Anyway, I'm happy to be a vaper even if it's at 0 nic.

Hello everyone, it is nice to meet you, and I can't wait to get to know all of you.

I have the same deal. Too much is never enough
.
You seem to be slacking just a tad in the juice department.
There is this juice called BFB Straight outta the toaster that comes in a 240ml bottle.

it normally runs $55 but there is a 4th of July 30% off deal which would make it $37.50 (For a QUARTER LITER of juice!)
if you google "infamous vapes" you will see they have a bunch of juice for 30% off.

Please continue to have a blast during your vaping journey.

Thanks everyone.

Just recently started in coil building. My first few claptons were horrible, but a few days later I'm getting the hang of it. It's funny how much more important wicking is compared to the the coil build. You can have a mediocre coil and great wicking and still have an excellent vape. If you have horrible wicking with a perfect coil, the vape turns out horrible.

I actually melted a pair of batteries in one of my noisy circkets. quite the learning experience. No explosion though. Ill be more careful with the protrusion of 510 connectors in the future.

Here are some pictures of my progress: Fuse Clapton 26g 316L core 32g 316L Wrap. No where near perfect and I just let the core twist. a little lazy on my part.
