HBO has released a new, one-minute trailer showcasing a little more of the neo-noir style of the highly anticipated second series of True Detective.
True Detective season two, which stars Vince Vaughn, Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, and Taylor Kitsch, trades rural Louisiana for the sun-baked streets of LA County and brings together two detectives, a highway patrol officer, and a career criminal in an investigation into a bizarre murder and a conspiracy involving billions of dollars.
The first two episodes of True Detective season two are directed by Justin Lin (Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6). The series begins on June 21 on HBO in the US. The series will air in the UK the following day on Sky Atlantic, and in Australia on Foxtel “express from the US.”
