Hey so I'm still kinda new to vaping I got my first mod about a year ago but it recently broke due to family mishandling, now I'm looking to replace it with something better that will hopefully last me longer. I'm looking for a (preferably smaller) single or dual 18650 mod and a tank suggestion would be nice also a tank with an optional rba base would be nice, thank you in advance to all those who give me suggestions.

I don't honestly see myself going over 80w, I'm more in it for the flavor and the rba section is for my future want to maybe build I'm not entirely sure of that part yet I'm still super new to everything, and I don't need anything super big I'm thinking a 22-24 would be more than enough for me I'm just looking for suggestions so that I can narrow down my search and hopefully find what will work best for me.

What mod and tank were you using before?
What did you like and didn't like about it?
I ignore the Watts ratings on most mods. I don't vape over 100watts. But I prefer dual battery mods to avoid having to change batteries during the day.

It was basically a subohm ego style setup I liked that it was on the smaller side cause I'm just a small person but I didn't like the internal battery or that I had absolutely no control over it, and I like the idea of a dual battery mod I just as I said like smaller mods that would fit my hand nicely if that makes sense.
I'm slowly considering it more and more

IPV8 or IPV Vesta by Pioneer4You
The Alien has been around and has gotten very favorable reviews and comments, with the exception of paint finish chipping (which seems to be in the earliest batches, and not so much now). Others complain it feels cheap, but works well.
The Predator is very new. It also is highly rated and reviewed. Many compare it to the alien and says it's better than the Alien. Has balanced internal charging which is a huge plus if you don't have an external charger.
But it's new so not any information on reliability yet.
IPV Vesta or IPV 8 are both really small dual battery mods. They are button fired instead of the trigger bar on the Alien/Predator.
The Vesta is newer and seems to work really well. Pioneer4You have had quality issues in the past, but these newer models appears to be better.
These 4 are all small dual 18650 mods. They fit good in the hand and easy to fit in your pocket or purse. They are about the same price so you can focus on what you like in a mod.
Myself, I'd be happy with any of these mods. But if I had to choose 1 I would get the predator.

@Johnnytraveler nice breakdown Johnny. I have very similar views as you. I would think the Predator is the new standard starter kit as well. Basically it's gonna be the Smok Alien when that first came out.
But if you want a lil spice in your setup. Get the ipv 8 in silver/brown. I find that mod and color combo very sexy. Looks good on SS RDAs and sub ohm tanks as well.

I am really liking the Alien, but just ordered a Predator as another work beater.
Best deal I am seeing is from My Freedom Smokes with a 15% off code MODKIT15 it comes in at around $49-52 depending upon which shipping option you choose. I saved a few bucks more than that because I had some purchase points with them but not a bad deal either way for a mod and tank set up.
Edit: that code works for all the mod kits not just the Alien, or the Predator.
so far I think I'm looking between the predator and the alien but I want to wait for more people to have used the predator for a little bit longer to see how it holds up more long term
Good idea in waiting. The cool thing about the alien is it comes in so many different colors. So you can find one that best suit your style.

So far I'm really liking the baby or big baby beast just depends on what mod I finally settle on I think, the elabo looks cool but the fact that they don't have the option of an rba base you can get kinda puts me off cause I'm thinking of eventually learning to build and would rather a tank that can do both.
