Newbie dripper-must own atties?

Whats up my friends? Ok-here's the deal: need advice. I've been vaping for a couple years but never got into dripping. I'm a certified flavor chaser. Any time I heard one new sub-ohm tank is better than another for taste, I bought it. Needless to say I wasted a good bit of money, but I did find a couple solid go-tos (kanger sub, arctic). I don't want to do the same with dripper attys now. I'll end up having to sell my car to eat (I'm an authentic snob jerk).

So, my question is: as I go down this dripping road, what are a couple essential RDAs that I MUST try or own. For flavor. like if I said "I never tried that one before" and you reply "what? Wow!" I have bought a Derringer, REM and Patriot V2 and I'm starting to lose control. I want to try a new one every day. So what's like a Cadillac of RDAs? Basically what is a proven, handsome looking RDA that is quality and delivers great flavor. Flavor is certainly important, but if there's a stud out there that has a little less flavor than like a Derringer that's ok. It's important, but not everything. Can be a legendary one, or new to the market. What are a mandatory must-haves in my collection as I join the dripping world? Hope this makes sense.

I always here names like Tohb, Magna, Plume Veil, Veritas, Tugboat, etc. Rip Trippers loves the Velocity now? Kennedy? But I can only have one or two!?
Thank you all--cheers

Dude, buy clones and try many. In my opinion, there isn't a significant difference in flavor between them all. I've tried at least 15 "top contenders" and it all came down to build. I drove myself crazy rebuilding day after day and my favorites were all about function more than flavor. In the end, I'm more satisfied with my Tobeco Super Tank with .5 coils than I ever was with any dripper. It's not worth being an "authentic snob jerk". I promise you it doesn't make your experience any better.

From what i ve heard ,the magma and veritas are pretty solid for flavor...the marquis is essentially a veritas but is easier to build on.

Im new to this rda world myself and all 3 models i mentioned are on my list of ones to try but as mentioned above the build is important as well..You may get crappy flavor on a "flavor tank" without a proper build....Experimenting with be the key to finding what you like most.

Thank you for the feedback. So could anyone recommend a solid one and two coil build? Diameter and how many wraps, etc. I know it's probably builds 101 but just a quick reply wud be great. Thanks everyone!

I keep it simple - straight duals with a single piece of 24g Kanthal, 3 mm inner diameter for lots of wicking, 8 wraps puts you at 0.3-0.4 ohm resistance.

I would say if you're more about flavor than clouds, definitely get a Magma. You can get a clone on Fastech for like $12...hell get a few. I love it in single coil mode especially when I'm tasting new DIY juices that I made. Also heard GREAT things about the Veritas as well. Haven't had the pleasure of trying one yet though. Good luck! :)

Ok good. Thank you. BTW OBDave two coils on a single strand hush? Haven't heard of that yet. So basically like a loop starting at +, running thru negative and back through +? coil on each side? Any advantage to that compared to two coils?

I meant to say two single strands, one per coil - nothing wrapped, twisted, braided, clapton'd, or anything like that.

Using a single wire for a dual coil is called a "sleeper coil," and the process of building those is to build one coil, stick it through the positive post with a lot of extra wire, then wrap the second coil while the first is halfway installed on the atty. I don't know what the advantage of doing it is, though it's a popular technique - I'm way too clumsy to try it myself...

It was invented for attys that had small post holes and vapers that didn't want to drill them out when they used thicker wire.
