Just like the sub tanks it started with one then all hell broke loose, well at least I am hoping it follows suit..
I am sure by now most have seen, heard of and even many have tried the Steam Crave Aromamizer RDTA
hqdefault.jpg

well it did not take long for the first company to follow suit, that being UD and their entry into the game the Bellus

this bad boy is side air, top fill with a real AFC ring, and the price point also rocks at under $30..
I have both, I love both and I am hoping upon hope that this side airflow RTA design takes on the same exponential growth that the sub tank offerings did

it is not just a two post deck, it also comes with an adapter to make it a single coil deck if you are so inclined

Obviously RTA's are nothing new to the vape scene, but these new breeds are bringing it to a new level for sure. I always do dual coils in both rda's & rta's, but that option for a single coil is very cool indeed. Thanks for posting this.

I have a Steam Crave RDA (not rdta, regular dripper) and I LOVE it. I'm vaping at 0.84 ohms single coil and I barely hit it and get decent clouds. It took me a little while to figure out the right ohms, higher builds were ok but I was always pulling till I coughed. Now with this build, I don't really have to pull and the flavor is good, vapor is good and I'm actually getting more pulls out of the same amount of drops. I mostly attribute vapor production to the cyclonic airflow design. Bottom line, its a great rda and I bet the rdta version is just as good.

The bellus with the 3ml top cap looks sick... but I think I like the airflow (and ring) of the aromamizer better. Here we go, yet another tank I need to get lol

Wait... what's up with the bellus' single bottom airflow hole? What's that all about? Doesn't make sense to me.

The Billow V2 works great as well (another rta, i think the newer one by same company?)
the billow is a standard bottom air flow rta, nothing new, these are both basically rda's inside of a tank

that is not an air hole, the air comes direct from the sides over coils, that is a place to plug in the single coil adapter

I don't understand if it's got a single positive post and two negatives, why it needs an adapter to use a single coil? I have an rda with 3 posts, and I run a single .84 coil on it, tried dual coils but took way too long to ramp up.

we are clearly not talking about the same tank, the Aromamizer comes with a three post deck, but the single coil adapter I refer to comes with the Bellus which has a 2 post deck.. There are two completely different tanks I refer to in this post

Which was already explained and was the exact reason I said I was confused. Your post is redundant.

probably redundant, did not mean to poke your sensitivities, in my experience redundancy does help overcome poor reading comprehension

Mine came with a 2 post Velocity style deck.

I am not sure if it has changed since I bought mine, but the velocity deck was a separate piece I had to buy, and did not by default come with it

Skimming through a thread and missing a detail does not equal poor reading comprehension. Maybe laziness, because I often skim when there is a lot of text I simply don't feel like reading, or I just skim because I am bored. Doesn't mean I have poor comprehension. I've been reading at a college level since junior high.

touchy touchy.....I will indulge your childish banter as it continues to bump the thread back up allowing more folks to see the Bellus by UD which is the star here

I'm getting mixed messages on this. SC website says it's an option, but some reviewer's say it came with the unit. Maybe it was only included for the reviewer's to review, but they made it sound like the two post deck was part of the package, like Rip's video
@Shark Vape kind of confirms that depending on where you buy it? Chinese confusion ... lol

Those who have tried this RDTA, would you describe it as flavorful as dripping? I came real close to buying this one but opted for the Bellus which i should hopefully have any day

I have both and both are, in the simplest terms, an RDA placed inside of a tank.. same flavor, same thick rich clouds.. I have benched everything else i have and use these two exclusively now.

Just got my Bellus and I'm super impressed. Looks like the Aromamizer is next for me. Great vapor and flavor even on a single coil. The vapor is dryer, if that makes any sense, than most of my set ups but it's awesome.

That's fantastic! How is it for MTL use?

It does make sense. The Aromaflator:) is the same way. The juice 'path' is different than other tanks.

It's really good! I'm trying to get more towards lung hits....slowly. I was to antsy to get it built bcuz I just got a new SX Mini I was wanting to play with so I only did a single coil on the Bellus and it still rocks! The vape is different than most my other atties in that it is a dryer vape.

Can't describe it but lots of vapor and I feel MTL hitters can dial this in to their taste just as much as DLH'ers, I did 26g Kanthal on 2.5 mm, came in at .60 ohm and doing right now 35 watts but climbing. No burnt hits, no leaks thus far

ETA- I have the AC wide open on the coil side (other is sorta blocked with the single coil adapter piece) and its real good. But it if was too airy for some, the AC can be closed off some.

Wotaya mean yer' moving toward direct lung inhale? :( Why? WHY do you hate me AngiBe??? :)

Very cool. I've always loved Youde products.
After I talked to you I decided to write up my opinions on the differences
between DL and MTL tank designs, and specifically tanks designed for MTL use.
http://vapingunderground.com/threads/next-gen-shorty-tanks-designed-for-mtl-use-ex-smokers.147757/

Glad you like the Bellus.

LOLOL...I don't hate ya...it just seems all the tanks are coming out for it, we are becoming an obsolete group :(. And gonna look at your thread now bcuz I feel that is REALLY needed!!!!
