So I got this Nichrome 80 for a fused Clapton but I'm wondering if any of you have any other coils that it would be good for/on.

I use 26/35 claptons made from N80 and they vape great. Ramp up time on N80 is low enough to make them work nicely on a single 18650 hybrid mech.
Other than that I like using 24g N80 as parallel builds on my regulated mods for big cloud production.

Hmm. Claptons made from all N80 instead of fused. I'll have to try it.

N80 is superior to kanthal IMO since it doesn't rust. My Claptons have lasted 4+ months of daily use. I dry burn ever few days when I rewick.

Indeed I like Nichrome a little better than Kanthel but it's not because it don't rust, lol
I like it because of its lower resistance..I usually can get a few extra wraps than I can with kanthel with the same gauge wire and still hit my targeted build resistance...its good stuff, lol

I've switched to N80 with all my devices. I just find better flavor with the faster vaporization.

N60 seems to color easier then N80, thats about it though

Yes, but I remember how n60 muted the flavor. To me n80 is better for vaping.
Thats if its used as the main build wire...not as a outer wrap, as an outer wrap its negligible in difference for flavor.

I see. For fancy coil building. I just build simple stuff. My bad.
Nothing wrong with that man, its not for everyone and as long as you got something you built working for you, job well done.
