Nicotine Base with PG & VG Ratio - Newbie :)

I'm considering trying this DIY thing in light of all this deeming BS :)

From what I gather from researching, going with 100mg base seems the way to go however I noticed vendors like MFS sell the nicotine base with either PV, VG or both and that is confusing to me.

Which one would be best for me to buy, I normally vape at 3mg nic with max VG so which nicotine base should I buy? I want to make sure I get the right one up front so I'm not stuck with a bunch of unusable nicotine, LOL. I see many say that even at max VG to buy the 100% PG since it's thinner and easier to work with? Wouldn't that mess up the ratio when you make the juice and add your own PG & VG?

I apologize for the dumb question and thank you all in advance for your help, just want to make sure I buy the right thing :)

While that's true, if max vg is important to you, I say go for the nic. in 100%VG.

You may encounter a recipe you would like to mix that contains 10% PG flavorings and not desire to add any additional PG at all.

Which is exactly why I'm curious which nic base to buy since I plan to buy 2 or 3 liters of it, just want to make sure I get the best one :) With being so close to "D" day, I won't have the luxury of trial and error with nic bases.

FYI, most excellent Nicotine base https://www.chemnic.com

It is depending, on what kind of resulting eJuice you want to make. If you're going for a 80VG or lower, you can get away with the Nicotine base in PG. However, if you want to go above 80VG, you need to get your Nicotine base in VG, due to most flavors being in a PG base.
