notchcoil burnin', please help

hi,
my setup is quite simple : reuleaux RX 2/3 and combo - ijoy.
I wanted to try notch coil, thinking that should be amazing.

but my first try was uneffective : the coil came to burn so quickly.

can someone help please ?

Notch coils ramp very quickly compared to a similar round wire coil. Might need to turn down your wattage.

Are you in VW mode? RX2/3 have a preheat feature, which you may want to turn off for a notch coil.
Or just run your coil in TC mode, since it's a SS316.
