So I have a few of these and I noticed that one of them, the tank spins, but very tightly (where the juice holes are) and another one spins pretty freely around and around, I have no issues with the one that spins freely but was wondering if this is typical for everyone else and normal?

I have a pair of Crius', and they both turn easily enough, but do have some resistance. They both weep a little juice between the AFC ring and base though, and that does seem to be a common issue. For more about the Crius, and it's issues look here: http://vapingunderground.com/posts/853086/

Is there supposed to be an O ring around the outside of the deck?

Right down in that thin deep circular part?

The only o-ring is a small one at the base of the threads as seen in this pic:

This may not be your case, but something to look at just for giggles - you never know. Check the juice flow intake holes in the chamber - if one of them got a little bent inwards, it could cause some grinding when turning the juice control. I think if this were the case you'd recognize it off the bat, but you never know, something to look at.

mine spun so freely that I was constantly checking if the last hit moved it out of place.. fixed it by wrapping some 32g in the gap between the AFC ring and the tank base to jam it up a touch.. still turns nicely but has some resistance now

I guess another question is, is there a way to tighten this without having to wrap wire in the gap?

did it a couple three weeks back, and have had zero issues, it was initially pretty tight, but as it wore in it got to about just right, easy to turn but not loose and sloppy..... in time I might have to add a couple fresh wraps but so far so good
