Observation i made Saturday

i noticed something that suprised me yesterday.

I was hanging with a group of hooligans at a srunt ride called hollowwheelie here in stl yesterday and as i was looking at the diffrent stunt bukes and setups i noticed a lot of people with box mods and tanks walking around.. now this may not seem strange to some but to me it's really strange.

The reason it's strange is that it's normal to see the bikers that show up at the bar smoking like even the non smoking riders don't even flinch or care but to see half of them vaping is crazy to me. I even saw a older (maybe late 50's) harley rider using what looked like a hana mod and i had to take a double check to make sure i saw that right haha

It seems like vaping is slowly creeping into the motorcycle relm which is great! Riding (especially the type of riding these guys do) is dangerous and it's good to see people put down cigs to live longer if they survive the falls (which happens ALOT)

A lot riders here vape for the ability to smoke while riding long distances. I've smoked cigs and rode but over about 20mph and you get cherry blowing back into your face.

I've got an 09 nightster 1200n bored out to 1340.

I think it matches up perfectly. Vaping is a tinkering hobby and a lot of gear head types take to it easily. Look at the vaping industry and compare it to the motorcycle industry, both use lots of the same tropes with overtly masculine and hypersexulized advertising... It's just coils vs chrome - all the same.
