Just got a VGOD pro mech, it has an iJoy Limitless RDTA sitting on it. That has 30g claptoned around 24g, 6 wraps each, parallel build. Ohms out at .29, according to Ohm meter. Has fresh LG HB6 Pinky, fully charged in it. Takes 15 to 20 second to ramp up x.x Why the hell is my ramp up time so slow?

Metal mass... try the same mech and same RDTA, and a dual 6 wrap 24 AWG without the claptoning...

30g wrapping wire? Shit no wonder it takes forever to ramp up.
36g is the fastest I'd use for wrapping wire.

30G is THICCC for an outer wrap gauge. I usually use 34G when I'm going for thicker outer wraps, and 38-40G for most of my normal sized outer wraps. The more overall mass there is to your coils, the more surface area there is to heat, so you need more power. The second issue is, it's hard to get that power with an unregulated device and coils that are higher in resistance, around .3.
I'd go for lower resistance coils, and invest in some thinner wire for the outer wraps. I like using 38G Nichrome 80 for the outers and 24G 316L SS for the inner wires.
