WHY do people edit the selling price of an item to $SOLD after after it's sold instead of leaving the price that it sold for??? Many of us would like to see the historical selling prices of past gear. This way we can search for a specific item and see what the going rates are at the time it sold. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS!!!

If we could get a thread of sold prices, I'd be happy to make an app/calculator that shows average price of a piece of hardware

See I’m torn. On one hand I fully agree as it lets you gauge the market but also if the person buys it, uses it and doesn’t like it they can get beat down on the price with the “you just bought it for xyz so I will offer you zyx”

I have been since 2019 and have to say I understand what you are asking and agree. I haven't posted sale/purchase price because I didn't think about it. It would give us a known market value if the item and would benefit sellers and buyers. Maybe we can get a sticky note asking members to post sale price but it is up to either/or/both to do so. Not a requirement but a suggestion.
