Yoshinoro Ono has revealed that an Onimusha reboot has been discussed at Capcom.
Ono told DailyStar he's "spoken internally with people who made Onimusha" with him originally "and talked about how interesting it would be to revisit that series." However, the producer is adamant fans of the series shouldn't get excited at this point, as the company is "not further down the road than the discussion phase."
With Capcom, Ono has been busy with the impending release of Street Fighter V, and is "not really in a position to start that same level of battle" he said he had to fight to get Street Fighter IV made.
