online coil software?

Someone posted a link awhile back to an online coil building calculator type thing where you put the gauge and target resistance and it shows how many wraps it "should" take. Anyone know where this is?

Depends on how wrapped, as far as the legs are concerned
Look at the image change as you pick the different types. It'll make sense.

I was thinking forward or return meant where the coil ends over or under.

@JediTT from looking at it you way of think is correct another way to see it would be weather or not you want a half wrap on your coil. ie not running in the same direction.
