I got the complete kit Of the VTC mini since it was only 6 bucks extra. I think It's the Ego One Mega? Anyway, curious what people think of it's performance, and which coils/temp you use. Currently, Im trying the TI coils, running it at 530F and 50 watts. Flavor and vapor production leave a lot to be desired so far. (3 days). Might just get another black Herakles and some Ni200 coils. What is your experience? Thanks.

Get the CLR heads and it is a pretty decent tank, I didn't bother with the coils that came with the tank, had the CLR heads a day before the evic mini with tank turned up.

I actually liked the vape so much using the CLR heads, I went and ordered another tank and more CLR heads, which turned up today :)

While I don't hate titanium, I always favor the Nickel coils over the Ti for the Joyetech eGo ONE. I run about 450 on full wattage, and I think it's very pleasant... vapor and flavor.

Yep. The CL coils that come with the eGo One Mega tank are the real problem. The CLR heads make all the difference. I bought the normal kanthal heads and they work great. The heads I've rebuilt using twisted and Clapton wire are working beautifully. Even if you don't rebuild them, they are easy as pie to re-wick. I like the tank much more than my Kanger Subtank.

Seen a few people say they work fine, but not very many though, the juice holes are too small, especially for people who want to crank up the temp and watts, they probably would work fine for me, as I only vape at about 30watts/450F in temp mode, but I just went straight to the CLR heads when I got the tank, also got the CLR Ti heads coming, so doubt I will ever use the stock Ni and Ti coils that came with the tanks.

I've tried the Ni & Ti heads that came with the kit as well as the rebuildable heads. Honestly, I never usually vape at more than 25 watts. Even at low watts the wicking for CL nickle head was awful, but the CL titanium head was pretty good with 50/50 juice. Thankfully, the CLR's can handle 80/20 without a dry hit. You're definitely doing it right. Those CLR heads are in another league.

I can't wait to hear your opinion of the rebuildable Ti heads. :D

I wasn't actually going to bother with the CLR Ti heads, as got 10 of the normal CLR heads, but found them for $12.95 for 5, which is the cheapest I have seen anywhere, and to sweeten the deal, I got free shipping with 2 packs, ordered last night and should have them Thursday according to tracking :)

Since you don't pay that much for the tank (6-7) dollars it's pretty okay, at the same time you can buy the evic mini and put the money towards a Uwell Crown or something like that.

Just to clarify... The CLR Kanthal, CLR-Ti, and CLR-Ni all share the same coil body, correct?

I believe so, the 510 pin is gold colored on the Ti heads, where silver on the kanthal, but otherwise I think they are the same.

I've had my eVic VTC mini for about a month now and I've been using the stock tank (eGo ONE Mega). Ive used both the Ni200 coil and the Titanium coil. It was okay for a while but the more I used it the less I liked it. I finally upgraded and bought some new tanks (Smok TCT and Herakles Sub-Ohm) and wow what a difference those tanks made. Now I understand all the hate the eGo ONE Mega tank gets online. It cannot compare to a "real" tank. The new tanks have much better flavor, vapor production and are far smoother when vaped at the correct temperature.
