Ok so I'm running this with a single, 1.0ohm coil and I will try to take a picture of how I have the wick set up because its easier than describing it. What's happening is, I fill it from the bottom and then I take a few pulls and it works OK, but then I start to get dry hits. I don't see any air bubbles rising from any of the juice channels. It doesn't leak at all, just not getting any juice. I'm running some 91% vg, 3mg juice I'm not sure if the juice is too thick? Just don't know what's wrong.

I don't know if the clones are exactly the same as the original, but the originals are not what I would call cheap, over $100 at least when they first came out. Seems stupid to make a tank that costs $100 and yet can't handle max vg. Anyway, if I loosen the top cap I will get a few air bubbles to rise, but if I tighten it back down it will leak. So I'm not sure if its the vg, or I'm just filling it wrong? Anyway here is a pic of how its wicked. The tail of the wick is wrapped around and tucked into the opposite juice channel to block it off.

I'm not sure and I don't mean to sound like a dick, but I googled orchid v2 and max vg, and found a Reddit page where several people run 90vg in their Ov2, so I don't think vg is the problem.

I know you're trying to be helpful, that's what matters. And even though you may have been a bit off, you did give me an idea. Normally when running high vg, it helps not to tweeze the coils because the juice can penetrate better. I did tweeze the coil, so that might have been part of the issue. Anyway, I'm gonna try building again, this time gonna do a dual build and trim the wick to the edge of the deck, see if it helps. Dual build should come out around .6, not really as low as I want to go but may not have a choice.

I milled out the juice channels and can fill them with cotton and run 100% vg. Get access to a mil and you will be golden. I have shelved all 5 of my orchid clones.

Came out to .69, think I can live with it. I'm not using the tank all day, I drip whenever I can vape inside or both hands are free. The tank is for convenience when walking my dog or w/e.

You are using cotton and not that cord wick that comes with it, right?

.6? The OV2 can subohm???

It's made to sub-ohm, dual coils and I have yet to find a way to get it over 1ohm in dual mode, tried wrapping them bigger but then they were too big and the chimney wouldn't fit.

None of the people on the Reddit page mentioned milling the channels, I considered going this route but don't have access to any rotary attachments for my drill ATM. I just rebuilt, gonna see how it goes.

Dude on your High Vg juice try adding a couple drops of water just a couple to thin it enough to work in that tank the flavor change should be unnoticeable.. just a couple :)

I got it working. After I rebuilt, I bottom filled while covering both air holes and the drip tip. Then I flipped it while still covering all the holes. Threw it on my nemmy, primed it, took a good many hits and no dry hits. I did have a bit of leaking after priming, but that stopped.

I didn't thin the juice out, just filled, primed and fired her up. Works great! I was a little frustrated because I had a kfl+ clone I couldn't figure out, so I ordered the Ov2 because I read a lot of reviews that said its a great tank, easier to build on than the kayfuns, etc, then I get it and I'm having all kinds of problems. Finally got it working and I'm much happier.
