Orchid V4 Fill Screw won't thread?

I just received my orchid v4 from fasttech. It vapes wonderfully and hasn't leaked so far.

The only issue I have is that the fill port screw won't actually thread. It seems to just be sitting there, I cannot remove it by twisting counter clockwise. The only way I've managed to remove it is by pushing it out from the top of the deck.

Has anyone experienced something similar? I have tried every screw they provided, with and without an oring to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was really excited for this RTA because I need something for long days that I can refill.

I don't mean to sound like a smartass but have you considered just filling it from the top?

I never use the fill port in my Kayfuns. I just fill from the top.

Yeah I've definitely filled from the top, I just dislike having to disassemble, cover the air holes and etc. The convenience of the bottom fill port is incredible. Even if filling from the bottom weren't an issue, it is still worrysome that the screw won't thread.

Not to jack the thread but does anyone care to explain how to fill the orchid from the top without it leaking?
