This week's Orphan Black began with a bit of a surprise in the form a new Leda clone named Crystal! And not only was she already on Delphine's radar, but she very quickly got swept up in the Clone Club drama too. It's funny, just when you think Tatiana Maslany has played every clone variant under the sun, they introduce a chatty, ditzy -- but deceptively savvy -- manicurist. Just one more great example of Maslany's range -- and another fun character to add to the mix, especially as the episode wore on.
Indeed, one of the highlights of "Ruthless in Purpose, and Insidious in Method" was Felix doing his best "American straight dude" impression to woo Crystal and steal her identity for Rachel and Sarah's gain. Even in just their one scene together, I loved Felix and Crystal's dynamic, particularly Fe's off-book pep talk. Plus, it offered a cool tie-in to Rachel's Duncan Code cliffhanger from last week.
