The 88th Academy Awards may have found its host in Chris Rock, as negations to bring him on board are reportedly underway.
According to Variety, Rock, who previously hosted the Oscars back in 2005, is "in serious talks" to host this year's show. The outlet also notes that a formal announcement from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences is expected to be made very soon.
Earlier this year, Oscar producer David Hill confirmed next year's awards show will have two hosts, so if Rock is indeed selected, he will presumably be sharing the stage with someone else.
