Here's good news for anyone in the market for a top-of-the-line TV. The 65-inch model of the LG C1, one the best TVs for gaming (and pretty much everything else), is on sale for $700 off. You can get the deal at Amazon, or at Newegg, where they're also throwing in a $150 gift card and a three-year protection plan. Either way you go, you'll be getting a seriously killer TV at a great price.
The C1 is the 2021 replacement for last year's LG CX, which was also one of our top selections in the OLED TV space. It offers all the features you'd expect from a high-end display, including 4K, numerous super-bright HDR formats, and pure blacks, thanks to local dimming. The viewing angles are incredible; you can see the picture clearly no matter where you're sitting in the room.
Both FreeSync and G-Sync are supported here. The refresh rate is 120Hz. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, so you can get all the benefits of 2.1 on multiple game consoles without having to switch around your HDMI cables, as you may have to do on other TVs.
I bought the CX last year and have been consistently amazed at the quality of the display when watching Netflix and playing PS5 and Xbox Series X. It even makes Switch games look great, thanks to the OLED display's color capabilities and pure blacks.
