Introduction
The original Magic Maze from Oxbar was a pretty decent device, with adjustable power/airflow and a decent range of juices; the Magic Maze 2 moves things forwards with dual-coil technology.
What is it?
The Magic Maze 2 is a 900mAh, 12-28w device with adjustable airflow, adjustable power, large LCD screen and dual-coil technology.
Design
The main aesthetic difference between the Magic Maze and Magic Maze 2 is the much larger screen, which takes up the entire side of the device.
Airflow
The airflow adjustment is perfect for the power levels, going from a super-tight MTL draw to a restricted direct lung draw.
Adjustable power
The button at the top of the screen will cycle through 12, 14, 16, 24, 26 and 28w.
In addition to adjusting the power, you can lock/unlock the device by holding the button for 3 seconds.
Dual-coil technology
When the device is set between 12 and 16w, it will use a single-coil, however when set between 24 and 28w, it uses dual-coils.
Performance
There’s a lot of flexibility with this device, take it down to 12w, close the airflow and you’ve got a very tight MTL draw, with nice throat hit and good flavor.
Take it up to 24w and above, open the airflow and the dual-coils will give good vapor production and excellent flavor.
Screen
The screen displays power, boost (if dual-coils are activated), battery level and juice level.
Flavors
The flavors that I tested were:
The dual modes of Magic Maze 2 work quite well, it’s nice to switch between a low power, tight airflow MTL vape and a dual-coil higher power restricted direct lung vape.

Flavors
The flavors that I tested were:
- Big Melons – slightly iced, slightly sweet melons. This one is good, it doesn’t taste like real fruit, but more like a good quality melon candy.
- Blue Slushy Ice – like the previous flavor, a little iced, a little sweet and strong clear flavor.
- Strawberry Watermelon Dragonfruit – these three flavors go together very well, again it’s more of a fruit candy flavor than actual fruit, but it works and tastes great.
