I adopted the Paleo lifestyle about a year and a half ago after suffering numerous health problems (ironically, blood pressure was not one, but plenty of others) which included a probably diagnosis of Celiac, along with other liver problems and my doctor ordered me to stop consuming all white carbs, grains, cereals, legumes and refined sugar.
I'd heard of Paleo, but discovered it could be for me after cruising the internet a lot trying to find foods I could eat
Can't believe some of the dramatic and positive things that happened to my hard-used and aging body
One of the things that drew me to it was how easy it is to eat. As long as you avoid the forbidden crap, there is no portion controls or restrictions on how much of what you eat or when or dumb balancing acts
I've lost 38 pounds and feel terrific and have even figured out how to eat when on the road, traveling, etc. which is not always easy
