After hiking prices and getting rid of its free trial, Paramount+ is finally offering a massive discount on both of its subscription plans. Until March 31, you can get two months of either Paramount+ Essential or Premium for $2.99 each month. Even better, unlike most streaming deals these days, the discount is available to both new and returning subscribers.

Get 2 Months of Ad-Free Paramount+ for $2.99/Month

The discounted $2.99 monthly price applies to both Premium and Essential plans, which typically cost $8.99/month and $13.99/month, respectively. The Premium plan drops ads and includes additional access to Showtime originals like Yellowjackets. Both plans include access to the full Paramount+ streaming library, including all things UFC, live NFL games (when they return), and a decent chunk of March Madness coverage.

New additions to Paramount+ in March include the Starfleet Academy finale, all of the Friday the 13th movies, as well as the Angelina Jolie Tomb Raider movies. It’s the streaming home for all things CBS, MTV, and Nickelodeon, including every season of SpongeBob. Paramount+ also recently acquired the streaming rights to all of South Park.

Paramount+ ended their free trial earlier this year in addition to hiking prices before the kick-off of their newly acquired UFC license. Aside from this two-month discount, you can also get Paramount+ through a Walmart+ membership, which starts at $12.95 a month and does in fact offer a 30-day free trial.

This isn’t the only streaming deal going on at the moment. Disney+ and Hulu are also offering a discount to new subscribers, dropping the monthly bundle price to $4.99. On the flip side, Crunchyroll recently rolled out a price hike while Amazon announced new changes to Prime Video plans.

What's Up With HBO?

As Paramount closes in on its Warner Bros. acquisition, there’s some rumblings of HBO classics like Game of Thrones making their way to Paramount streaming service. As of now, however, Paramount execs have indicated that HBO will “continue to operate with independence.” That most likely means that HBO Max will continue to exist as a separate service, but if there's anything we've learned from this acquisition drama, it's that things can change very quickly in the streaming world.
