Between 0.25% and 25% depending on recipe and flavorings. I have flavors that never get used above 2% and others that can get used from .2% to as much as 25%.....

Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

While I never go above 20 % myself, this is a great, realistic answer

Depends on the flavors & vendors. Some of my FA or FLV recipes are as low as 10% (or even less) total flavoring, where some of my TFA or CAP recipes use as much as 20% total. Viscosity also matters. I mix max VG (no added PG) so I need more flavor than some mixing say, 50-50.
How you vape can also determine percentages needed, as well.

thanks for your help, had some really good responses but its all trial and error it seems, i use e vape marlboro at 20% and that works fine. but i got Vape Boss, cops baby batter, and mixed it at 20% and oh my god it came out like candy floss so ive mixed it down to 10% and ill see how it turns out from there. in future i think ill use 7% as a starting point and go from there. thanks again

Called hype for profit.
There is an atty sucker born every minute.
I do generally use a pretty low percentage on a good number of flavorings, according to some of those charts, no matter what atty I'm using, really.

Of the attyies I've picked up over the years, most of my factory coil tanks tasted the same. With RTAs I run into pretty much the same thing, though there might be a subtle difference in some. In general, for me, at least, most taste the same from one to the next, but I'm really picky about atties, and I wait for more than one review before I choose. I don't buy much vape gear, in comparison to the spending sprees I see here, LOL. I kinda find something I really like, and tend to stick with it for a while.

New vapers today, they have it made, once they get past that, "what the hell am I supposed to get?"

I used to watch all of the vaping equipment reviews from all of my fav vape reviewers.

400Watts baby, 10 coil coil head, this one has a different terminal post arrangement, etc.
Found most of what I want. Not shopping much any more.

I now only watch mostly their Vlogs and a few select reviews.
Gave up on all the juice reviews a long time ago.
Watch several DIY shows though.

I am not sure I would be vaping if I tried starting with an Alien mod and beastie tank...
ordered a few more Subtank Mini parts a while back. Have enough parts to keep them running for 20 years now.
I think the STM with the V2 RBA deck is a very under appreciated tank.
I run .4 SS316 coils @ 18 watts in mine and get a very flavorful vape. My ADV's taste just as good from them as they do from my Goons and such.
I use 6.6% total flavorings in my ADV's.

I liked the flavor in that one, but only have the nano. No RBA for it, that I ever saw. My 3 ADV, as of right now, 5.5%, 4.65% (was reduced from 11% when I first started vaping it), and 6.5%.

Madness I tell you.

The RBA deck in the STM's is much better than the factory coils. Easy to coil and wick as well. I keep a few coiled and wicked to swap out as needed just like a factory coil. Got 5 more RBA decks coming in my FT order in transit.
Been using the STM's for almost 2 years now and only have had 1 deck screw stripped out and broke 1 glass which I broke trying to remove it to put different colored gaskets on. Have around 20 spare glasses for them.
Also been using 1 50W Kbox mini mod for around 2 years. One battery's worth of useage per day and still going strong.
Don't think the Kanger multi battery mods are as good though.

Depends how strong it smells. If its an espresso coffee or a peach I add no more then 5 percent. Vanilla or custards I add a lot, sometimes around 7 percent or more. This is where the skills come in.

My fav shake and vape custard. Needs to sit at least 1 day and best if sits a week or so.

120 ml batch
50/50 PG/VG
4 ml CAP Vanilla custard V1
1.5 ml CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream
Nic to suit, I use 3 ml of 100 mg/ml.
4 drops of NuNaturals Clear Nu Stevia.

shake well and enjoy. Simple yet good.
Or at least I think so.

Just wrap around one of the little 2.4/2.5 mm diameter screwdrivers.
Thanks :DI recently received them, but haven't had time to learn to make coils and wick them. I've watched a couple videos, but I learn best by doing. I should slow down later this week and hope to give it a chance. I'm still learning diy e-juice and there's only so much time in a day. o_O

Based on the reviews and the discussion posts, I don't know that I'd get these, but since they're being made, maybe someone has a more reliable one available. Good find, though!

I figured I'd give them a chance. Premade coils can get expensive and I like my nano. I also wanted a backup in case coils become hard to get.

They certainly can! That's why I got interested in building my own, too. I used to rebuild my protank coils for that very reason, and those were cheap compared to the stuff out these days. I hit a few snags early on, but it got much easier.

I would not recommend those.
They are like the V1 STM RBA and kinda sucked.
if you find some Nano ones with holes in the side though....

One of the discussions did say the holes are there, just ultra tiny and near the bottom. 2 dudes were drilling them out. I did that with Protanks, too, LMAO.
But, CrazyCat, you can learn building on these, just as much as anything. Matter of fact, if you nail these down, RTAs will be cake.

Yep they have tiny holes at the bottom and are much more difficult to wick properly than the V2 ones with the holes in the sides.
The V2 ones are much easier to wick than the majority of RTA's.
And virtually NEVER leak.
In the past year I have had one that gurgles and it was my wicking error. I had not covered one of the holes completely.
I carry a STM in my shirt pocket in the heat all day and it never dribbles on me.

Unfortunately, I've already bought them. But, might be able to find something better later on.
They will work just not as well as the V2 style.
You can file out the slots in the bottom of the chimney sleeve a bit and improve their performance.

I think it is personal , you have to experiment and not get too stuck on what other people do.....also I personally think it depends on alot of variables....your style of vaping VG/PG ratio, what kind of atties you use, what kind of wicks you use, ect.

With all the hype on how much better flavor each new atty has than the older one we should be down to 1% flavoring across the board by now.

LMFAO
Naw.... the new atties also need more wattage..and tend to be VG focused... so it balances out.. if anything I find I need more flavoring the higher in watts I build for. I think it really had more to do with the added airyness of newer gear. Than watts... but they do kinda go hand in hand. As i find both air and wattage dulls flavor.

Yep most all new gear seems to be geared to higher and higher watts.
I have found what I want and am not playing that game though.
And with VG over 60% I start hacking up VG.

Yeah more than 50/50 make me sick....

I premix my base... nic PG and VG at 60 to 65 % PG.. leaving it 20% short on PG and a little high on nic. Then to make juice I add flavorings and more PG to get ratio close to 70% PG and desired nic levels.

I Premix my base at 60/40 PG/VG with no nic. My flavoring levels are so low that the 5 ml or so of PG based flavorings in 120 ml makes no real difference.
I add my nic as I mix.
