Perfectly clear liquid?

Anybody ever have an eliquid with nic in it that remains perfectly clear after steeping for weeks?
I bought a bottle of MechSauce (from Mechsauce) and ordered 6mg of nic in it. Tastes great, but I put in my stash to steep and just recently pulled it out and it's still perfectly clear like water o_O

I personally have never seen any juice with nic in it stay that clear. I vaped over 5 mls of it and find I'm still fiending for nicotine...dunno if it's my mind playing tricks on me but I would swear it has no nicotine in the juice!

I mix my own between 3 and 4, and depending on the flavors I use it'll sometimes remain entirely clear - but nothing ever lasts more than a couple weeks around me. I'm used to seeing at least a tiny tinge of yellowing after a week or so, especially if there's light exposure involved. Seems straight fruit flavors and blends are less likely to turn color, but that's just an anecdotal observation.

Never used Mechsauce, but they're a pretty well-respected vendor - it's not impossible they could have forgotten to add nic if they're custom-mixing liquid, but I'd imagine that would be a rare anomaly...

I've had straight fruit flavors and I've seen the slight yellowing tint you speak of, that's what I'm used to and expected. I really did not expect a strawberry milkshake with 6mg of nic to be water clear though!

And yeah they are a good vendor, purchased from them plenty of times before and never had a problem.

Have you tried contacting the vendor?
Thought about it, I'm not really peeved about it considering the low price and all the good juice I've gotten from them.
I'll end up getting a good picture of it and will mention it in my next order to 'make sure the nic is in there' lol
And will probably just hand this one off to a buddy who vapes zero nic juice (guess that will be the ultimate test to see if it really is nicotine free...)

If anything it would help them to know, just in case there's a QC issue they don't know about...

I have seen a few times where they will stay clear with some fruit flavors using crystal clear nics.

Some flavors just stay clear a lot also have to do with the amount of air that is inside the bottle. The nic turns color from reaction with the air. This is why some vendors/diy juice people "breathe" their juice. Or something just while making the batch leaving it out to open air while borrowing or through any of the process this can happen.
