Petri rda, major let down

I got the dotmod petri v2, with the single air hole cap, and it sucks. I feel stupid because it feels like the goon with one air hole, which pretty much isn't my thing, especially when I subohm @ 0.10-0.15! isn't there some wide open cap available for this rda?
I was very excited to get this rda and after I installed some SS claptons, I wasn't very happy

I hope someone here can change my mind about the dotmod petri given that I mainly use the goon, 22,24 and apocalypse rdas.

Wish I could change your mind, but alas, I hit the same snag when I came across this rda. Mine also came with added annoying bonus of a whistling sound everytime I went to take a big draw off of it. Nothing like sounding like your the guy blowing the whistle on a navy ship every freaking time you go to take a hit!

They make a cloud cap with two air holes. I love the V2 and wish the air flow was more restricted:

As mentioned you need the cloud cap or the 24mm conversion cap. I use the normal cap but my Petri is bf

Drill the cap a little at a time, to match your vape style. The cloud cap has perfect airflow for ME. Not sure about your style.

I'll try a cloud cap, found them for $25 shipped. I just installed some n80 aliens from b_d_builders and it's a bit better than the SS aliens I got for free from someone. just need more air flow. here's a pic

I have 2, petri v2's. One with cloud cap and one with the stock cap. I switch off between the two often. Cloud cap for beefier high wattage builds, stock cap for more modest builds.

With the type of build you are currently running, I think the cloud cap will do it justice.
