INTRODUCTION

Hello everyone and welcome to Pizza Dave’s vape reviews. Today I am going to be covering an older product, the Ceto pod system by Rincoe. As always, I keep my reviews unbiased, but this was sent to me by Rincoe for review. Rincoe is a new company that is hitting the market, and the Ceto Pod system is their first release. A quick peak at their site and they are going straight into direct competition with Smoant, Smok, Joyetech, and Vaporesso type devices. (SPOILER ALERT) If the rest of their products are as good as this pod system then they are going to really take off as a company. This tiny device is like many of the pod systems on the market including the Souring Air/Drop, Smok Badge, and the Smoant S8. It is simple, compact, easy to use, and has some great flavor, so without further a due, let’s dive in and see what the Ceto is all about!

DESIGN AND OPERATION
The Ceto all in one pod starter kit doesn’t take much to operate. Right out the box, the user must remove the pod and pull off a sticker covering the positive and negative pins on the “coil” of the pod system to operate. One thing you will notice is that the pod is held in place by a nice sized magnet right in the middle. I love how they did this. It is secure and is oh so satisfying to feel it pull right in there. It also leaves little to be worn on the battery portion over time, and that’s a nice bonus. To fill the pod, pop open the refill port and fill it up. It isn’t a large port so bottles with narrow tips are a bit more user friendly. I used both a dropper and small tip and found the dropper to be rather messy. Let is sit for 5 minutes or so and start puffing. This is an inhale trigger device, so there are no buttons what so ever. There is however an LED near the charge port. This LED works as a notification of battery level.
- When vaping with a battery over 30%, the LED will be blue
- When vaping with a battery under 30%, the LED will be red and from there it will not function
- If there is a short circuit, the LED with flash red 5 times, and if the device doesn’t see the resistance of the pod, red and blue lights will flash 5 times together.
- When charging, Lower than 70% the LED will flash red, over 70% will flash blue, and fully charged is indicated by solid blue.
- If a puff is over 10s the LED will flash red 3 times and stop working

HOW IT VAPES
So…it is easy to use, and it is compact, but…. the million-dollar question is how it vapes. This device is right up there all the best pod systems on the market. The flavor is on point, it is very compact, and the battery life lasts a hair over one full pod in my experience. I was using 25mg nic juice that is a 65/35 ratio and it had no issues keeping up, and I tend to chain vape heavy at times. I brought this with me to work as my full-time device and it got me through the work day and then some. Vapor started to become a hair bit reduced when the battery was low as expected, but it took until the pod was empty to get there, so I didn’t mind. Overall, Rincoe done good on this one.

FINAL THOUGHTS
One must be a little skeptical when a new company hits the market, but Rincoe is hitting the ground running and made one of my favorite pod systems to date. I ran through about 5 to 6 full pods and the flavor and vapor is still solid. I love how they have a magnet holding the pods in, as it is something new and innovative that I can’t believe hasn’t been done before. For the most part, I had a hard time finding faults with this. A very subtle con is that it seems like the finish could be a bit better. Something this small is going to get tossed into pockets and purses, and I can see it getting a little banged up. The backside (non-carbon) shows some hairline marks from every day use, and it is a finger print magnet as well. This is a minor con for a device like this, but I must point it out. Pros far outweigh the cons and recommend this to anyone looking into getting a pod system. Nice work Rincoe.

REVIEW CRITERIA: I use each item for about two weeks to ensure I have collected enough data to adequately write a review. I use the same e liquid in tanks or rdas throughout all my reviews to ensure that I am comparing apples to apples between all modern equipment. I do not post reviews until I feel confident that I have used it enough to give an educated review. The reason I started doing reviews was due to poor purchasing decisions in my vaping infancy about two years ago. Back then, I purchased several different pieces of hardware without really enjoying it and I hope my reviews can guide people into spending their hard-earned money more wisely than I did! ****Keep in mind that some items I receive may be pre-release and not in retail packaging. Quality may be less than the finished product and what is in the package may differ from the retail package as well.
