Please A little help .... Pretty pretty please

Hello all, I will skip to the point

I just got CKS Icon 200 mod, In the manual it says "To be used with a minimum 30A battery"

I got dual Lg HG2 (( LGDBHG21865 )) and they are 20A batteries, is it safe to use it in this mod?

I use Aspire tank with the aspire coils 0.4 ohms, and usually vape around 40 to 50 watts

My concern is should i be using a 20A battery in a device that requires 30A battery?

what is the max amount of watts should i be able to vape at this setup?

The mod has no ventilation holes, should i be concerned since i was a heavy smoker for 12 years and just got into vaping and i do vape alot

I was going to get Sony VTC5 then i read that its not actually a 30A battery, Is the LG a better choice, Since it also might not be a true 20A?

To reach anywhere close to 200watts, yes you would need 30amp batteries capping out at about 190watts on their lowest charge, only 3 on the market that are true 30amp cells, the LG HB2, HB4, and HB6, all 1500mah 30amp CDR at 80 degrees C or lower in internal temperature. The LG HG2 is still an outstanding battery, though manufacturer rated at 20amp, independent tests show they are 18amp @ 80C internal temperature, roughly they can max out at 110 to 120watts. Being you are running 40 to 50 watts, the LG HG2 is fine and perfectly in that application as their 3000mah runtime rating is more benefit to you. Battery manufacturers have to balance runtime (energy density aka Mah) or energy throughput (amp capability), though alternatives to the HG2 would be the Samsung 30Q (manufacturer rated 3000mah 15amp, tested they are 3000mah 20amp) and the Sony VTC6 (manufacturer rated 15amp 3000mah but tested they are 19amp CDR 3000mah), again in that 120 to 130watts max range.

Unlike a mechanical or unregulated to figure amp load is Voltage/Resistance=Amps, with a regulated variable wattage mod, we have to use another "Ohm's Law" formula, Watts/Volts=Amps, adding more accuracy we divide that figure by the chipset efficiency like so (Watts/Volts)/90%=Final Max Amps.

Most mods shut down or give check battery errors at or around 3.2v per battery, this figure is very relative as the lower battery voltage drops below the needed volts to reach set watts, the mod control board kicks in the booster circuit which pulls raw amps and converts them to volts to make up the difference, so lower the voltage of the batteries, more amps are pulled from the batteries. Yours is also a "Series" battery circuit, with that we multiply voltage of 1 battery by number of batteries in the series, yet still have the same Mah and Amp limit of a single battery. So, our lowest voltage average for your mod, being 2 batteries is 6.4v (3.2 X 2).

50watts set/6.4v lowest battery voltage=7.8125/90% (or 0.9)=8.6806amps max you ever ask presently of your batteries.
110watts set/6.4v=18.34375/0.9=19.2708amps max would be needed

Alternative batteries you could look at also than those listed, these will sacrifice Mah for more amps

Sony VTC5A (not the regular older VTC5, this one is newer, 2500mah instead of 2600mah, 25amp CDR over the older 20amp CDR) <-- One of the best batteries on the market at the moment, but pricey due to demand, so take note of the "A" in the model number
LG HD2 and HD2C, both about 2000mah 25amp CDR, with the LG HD4 at about 2100mah 25amp CDR
Long Standing flexible workhorses, the Samsung 25R (2500mah 20amp CDR) and the Sony VTC4 (2100mah 23amp CDR tested) but both can be flexed occasionally up to about 25amps without trouble when needed, but not suggested press them that far all the time, you will decrease their life cycle doing so regularly.

Thank you for a detailed response, so in simple term im OK using an 18A battery (( as you stated )) in a mod that requires 30A minimum, as long as i dont max the wattage up, Correct?

And i don't have any more choice in battery since i live in Kuwait, And there isn't many options

yes, if you are running regularly under 110 to 120watts, the HG2 is perfectly fine and safe.

as far as battery suppliers, you have to be careful and make sure the listing states the battery is authentic and read the reviews on the listing by other customers, but you might see if FastTech might be able to ship to you, might take a while for their snail boats, but they are worldwide electronics shipping from China. Don't see why they would not, has to be shipped via boat due to regulations with Li-Ion batteries and planes, but if you are not ordering "vaping" stuff, just batteries, should be no customs hold ups or blocks.

Thank you, I really appreciate your time, I've been keeping the device in the box since yesterday scared of using it when i found out it needed 30A, you gave me ease of mind.

And i checked a few pics of the battery on google, seems to be real LG, but what do i know.
