Please Help with menthol crystals

I can't seem to find a fix anywhere i look.
So i crushed and added menthol crystals (got from pharmacy) into an already mixed 70vg 30pg liquid. When i vaped it there is no cooling sensation and all it does is make me cough like crazy.

PS. I should mention i shook it like mad, then put in a bowl of hot water until the water got cold, shook it again for 5 mins. And let it sit for 8 hours then vaped it

I'm sorry if i'm a noob with this, i just got off smoking ciggs and it's my first time to diy. I was too scared to handle nicotine so i ordered a pre-mixed blank VG and PG. I got hold of menthol crystals so any help would be appreciated.

FYI i live in Thailand, vaping is illegal here. Getting my gear and the mix with nicotine was no easy task, i had to order my gear online and the first time was siezed by customs. I succeeded with the second order but changing the address

My advice would be to use flavoring ment for vape or food. If all you can find is food flavoring make sure its not oil based.

Vape flavors are difficult to find, if you do find them 15ml bottles will be severely overpriced. 4-500% overpriced.
I smoked Marlboro Black Menthols back then, so for now atleast flat menthols is fine, if i can just get this thing to work.

Well i know fasttech will ship to you but there's a good chance it'll get confiscated. I'll do some searching see what i can come up with. If anything i'd go to a baking/candy foods store and check there.

Searching in grocery stores you do come across PG based food flavors, according to the label.
But they are dead cheap and i can't be sure if i trust them. They will say 70% PG ,30% concentrate.

Some of the common vape flavoring used is made by lorann (i use a couple). Which is just a regular food flavoring company, so i don't see why not.

I will give it a shot. Is it true that if you pour food flavorings in a bowl of water and dissolves instantly, is safe to vape?

More or less yes if the flavoring dissolves is water that means it's not oil based, oil and water do not mix .

Loranns flavors ive tried that are good are mango, coconut, honey, caramel, cream cheese icing.

Usually yes most of their flavors have no oil some do theres a list somewhere.
