Ey mates, I just bought an authentic black tomahawk mod and was wondering what i can do to polish it up nicely. Seems like there is a smudge in the black graphite i cant get out with a microfiber wipe also. Need her lookin squeaky clean. Any household items i can use? Prefer not to go buy anything, if i need to i will though. Thanks for your time

Thanks man, well the thing is I didn't see that spot on there when i got it, so im not sure how it got on there. Maybe water, or oil somethin.. Not gonna exchange it, but you think i should use Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish? From what ive researched looks like that could do the job and freshen up the copper too.

Thats a paint coating of some sort, with probably a clear coat on it. I wouldn't use any abrasive polish on it or you're likely to damage the finish worse than it already is. I think when they say "graphite", they are referring to color, not a type of coating.

Gotcha, well i used that stuff called Flitz and it worked like a champ! A little bit of the black on the edges of the bottom of the mod got slightly worn but not really noticeable. Thats Fligltz stuff is the bomb, its green friendly, non-abrasive and good for decadal things. Thanks for your input bahb, im new to this site and i like if if i have questions about anything. Thanks again

Not trying to rain on your parade, but MXJO is not a battery manufacturer. They buy bulk cells and rewrap them with their fancy wrappers with over exaggerated specs printed on them. That battery is more like a 15 to 20amp battery. Not saying it's a bad battery, just saying be careful using it on your mech mod. Don't be thinking because is has 35amp printed on the wrapper, that you can safely build your coils to draw 30amps or you may find yourself getting into trouble. At the very least, you will kill that battery fairly quickly.

Here are test results for that particular battery. Mooch is a professional and does large scale battery testing and engineering for a living. He tests out our vape batteries for nothing and has quite a list going.

I gotcha bahb, i looked and still don't know what to buy honestly. Sounds maybe Samsung and LG make the best batteries but i dont know.

Yeah, there isn't that many manufacturers. Efest doesn't make their own batteries either. Samsung 25r's are pretty bullet proof for mech use.
