Not sure about tart lemon flavors. Lemon Sicily is sweet, FE Lemon is somewhat Pledge-y. NF Ginger (low %) FA Citrus Mix, Maybe FA Lemon Sicily, but there has to be a tart lemon out there somewhere.

I'm also bigger on Tapatio than Valentina...though the yellow label isn't big around here. I've got over 20 salsas in the fridge at any given moment, though Sriracha (the real rooster bottle only), Gringo Bandito, Cholula, and a 50/50 of Crystal/Tabasco are the ones that come out most often...all good for flavor, but if I want heat I'm finely dicing fresh peppers of some obscene sort, which are in no short supply 10 miles from the Mexican border.
Second thought - interesting you'd mix an Asian recipe with a 'Murican one and end up with a Mexican salsa...I may try that just for shits 'n' giggles.

That would nail it in a shake-n-vape for the bitter citrus zest. I find it falls flat rather quickly once mixed (shelf life <1 month for me).
