Problem with Cuboid!

I've had this old Joytech Cuboid for a while and I've been using it with some shitty, second-hand tank, so I decided to order a TFV8 Cloud beast. A few of my friends have it and I love it so I wanted to buy one for myself. It came in earlier today and all was well until I put it on the Cuboid and emcoutered my problem: the wattage on the mod won't go above 106.3w, when the recommended wattage is 120w-180w... I tried taking it off and adjusting the wattage with no tank on and it goes up to the full 200w (the mod is on the latest firmware) but with the tank on, it won't go past 106.3w.

I'm totally at a loss, I have no idea what the problem is. It might just be time to get a new mod as the Cuboid has almost 11,000 puffs on it, but I find it hard to believe that the mod would simply glitch out like that. Could it be that my batteries aren't high enough drain? I don't know.

Any help at all would be useful. Thanks!

+1 to the earlier reply. I remember the first time cuboid 200 watt firmware upgrade came out. I was so eager to try that, but then the wattage stop climbing around 140-ish. I was so lost until I figured out that it automatically adjusts to the coil resistance. I figured this because I changed the coil and the resistance came out around .3/.2-ish) and I was able to reach 200w. But sadly you need the batt to be about 80% or above for it to work.

What was said before is correct.
Also it seems the mod is misreading the resistance of the coil as 0.17
If you want to use the TFV8 and get higher wattage out of the Cuboid you should use the RBA head instead and build higher, building at around 0.35 would allow you to reach the mod's full potential.
Either that or get a mod that has a higher amp limit.
