Problem with my new tf-rta G2 from Smok!

Hi everyone!

recently I have bought the new tf-rta G2 with 2 rebuildable clapton coil and using a X cube II. I love the atomizer but there is a problem, which I am facing all the time and couldn't find a solution yet. The problem is following, whenever I vape (specially from 40 watt on) the atomizer starts to spark very strongly and I should stop it from getting hotter. Any suggestion?

Are you using the build it came with? I have the G4 and the factory build was shorting. I had to rip it out.

That sounds like you're getting a hard short for sure, especially if your resistance tanks into the ground (goes VERY low) when this happens. Make sure the coils are not touching anything on the deck itself or on the chamber in the tank. Unless the sparks are coming from outside the tank, in which case bury that bitch under ten feet of concrete and burn some sage because that is not normal at all. You want your coils touching no metal at ALL.
