Problems with Smaug 150w V2

Help! I'm having trouble with my Smaug 150w. I just got it about a month ago and every time I screw my tank in and hit the firing button it says "short protection." What does that mean and why is it doing it? I'm sort of new to vaping and any feedback or suggestions to fix it will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If you have tried other atties and it says the same thing, your chip is fried.

How do you know it's not the tank? Did you build your own coil? Make sure there'e no stray wire and the coil's not touching the posts. All a guess.

I would test the tank/Atty on a separate ohm meter...it its shorted the ohm meter will show you...if it reads the ohms OK then it could be the 510 pin connection in the mod or a problem with the chip...just sayin

@Flynic3 had this same problem with his unit. Chip was fried.
