Thanks for the heads up. I have a handful of Provari's and they have been fine long lasting mods..,,. But too little too late for me, not to Mention the extra 100 bucks for what you get..... And the fact that we kept them alive all these years ordering direct when there were only a handful of vape shops nation wide... Them they decided to bypass all of us for vape shops.

I'm a bit put out with them at the moment for all the above reasons.

If I didn't own one I would buy one for the simple fact that it will still work 10 years down the road.

Two cents .... Sorry to bash a bit.

Wonder if they will include the P3 in any Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale that Provape may have.

I am trying to decide whether to get one or not. I may just buy the full size 2.5 in a color. I have a mini and really like it but the extended end cap doesn't work. It is really touchy and has to be in the exact right spot or it won't fire. It is either too tight or too loose nine times out of 10. So I would like something that I didn't have to change the batteries so often. Not sure if I would really use thE new features.

Hell, I'd buy one if it was $130. $250? Nah, I can buy a Protovapor XPV DNA 40 mod for $205 shipped. Twice the wattage. I can get a vaporshark rDNA40 for $190 Shipped.

I think Provari went the safe route hoping past customers would upgrade along with newbie vapers.

I'm waiting to see if they change out the top cap on the 2.5 to the P3 top cap like they did with the Titanium.

I am slowly learning you do not want to buy first with anything related to the vape world.

They have actually been selling these for a while at vape shops. Also, even though I've bashed them a bit, if provape makes it, it will be " on the money"

At the expense of dealer mark-up and finding a shop that carries them. This is the first time they will be available direct. They made them available to dealers first.

I received the same E-Mail, still up in the air about it. One thing I noticed is there is nothing mentioned about an extended warranty or repair / replacement cost of the circuit board which is a known amount on the V2.5. Probably won't pull the plug until more information is given by Provape.

I wouldn't consider the P3 a new mod that needs to earn it's rep , i would bet this will turn out to be a far more reliable choice than whats flooding our market now with so many "unproven in the long term" devices.

Provape is actually the only company I WOULD trust buying the first gen of a product.. they have insane engineers working for them and really do make a top notch product.

No one buys a Provari for wattage anyway , if mega wattage was the only thing that satisfied , the Provari's would never have become legendary in the first place.

Twenty is plenty for me and if it had more i would dislike it more actually but i'm not getting one anyway so why the fuck and i commenting about it , that is the question.

Provape should fix that under warranty.

I'm on the fence with pulling the trigger (no pun intended) on a brass tac mods AR. It's hailed as a hard hitter, but $250.00?

it is a really hard hitting mod... I thought they were only around 180$ though? might want to check around for a lower price.. I had one for a few months before I sold it - its REALLY heavy so I didn't like carrying it around with me (other than using it as a impromptu weapon lol)

I would take the P3 over the AR mod any day.

The steel ones retail for $180, it's the brass one that's more moolah. I imagine the brass one would be heavier than the one you sold, lol. I'll look into the P3 though, thanks

Oh ok gotcha - that makes sense.. yea still a lot of $ for just a mech mod.. for that price you are getting a lot more with the P3 imo.. plus AR only holds 18650 where the P3 can use all 3 battery sizes.. plus the extra wattage etc... totally worth it.

my thoughts exactly they have got to get under that $200 mark for all their finishes. the cell phone market understands that

I hate to be one of those people who poopoo on provape, but I can't see me buying this for $270 (the black looks nicest imo, but has another $20 tagged on the price). About 6 months ago I was dead set on owning a provari, decided to wait on the P3, got a vaporshark in the meantime, and then got a vaporshark rdna... after thoroughly enjoying both of those I have a feeling my next device will be an rdna40 - love the form factor, and haven't had a single problem with either - also considering the sxmini, that thing is real good looking. Maybe I will change my mind, but I just don't feel the P3 is worth the price. I am still thinking about picking up a used 2.5 just to have one, but I doubt a P3 is in my future. I do hope all you provari lovers enjoy the sh*t out of it though!

Not going to happen , can't think of anything going down in price as the years go by , well at least if quality is expected to be the same or better. The P3 is considerably more expensive than the P2's but it does offer considerably more as well .

i know they look at the price as part of their quality brand, i get it. but i think they would find enough sales under $200 to make up for the price drop and maybe more. plus then it would be in more vaper's hands. maybe come out with a P3 basic version, strip out all the bells and whistles, keep the build quality, and cut the price in half. still needs at least 30w though. just thinking out loud here lol

I agree , would like to see it (even though i still wouldn't buy one) , Provari has a very loyal customer base already , so while putting more into the hands of working people makes sense i just don't see it happening.

Lower prices will always sell more no doubt about it .

If someone wants a very well made device with a warranty to back it up than I don't see where its a waste. 20 watts is plenty for most.. the average vaper doesn't need friggin 100-250 watts.. The 2.5's still sell ALL day and they are 175$ ..I don't see how this is would be throwing money down the toilet - and I could say the same thing about spending 200$ for an authentic mech mod that doesn't do crap besides house a battery :)

I actually find his attitude a breath of fresh air actually , wish there were more who weren't afraid to say what they think and not hold back because they are afraid how others may perceive them .

The " i'm going to tell you how i see it and i doubt many of you will agree but thats OK because i'm saying it anyway " style balances out the forum in my opinion .

People will not always agree but i don't think he cares which i like.

Besides there's way too many " me too " comments that abound , got to throw in some aggression and pessimism .

I’m fine with the 20w limit and sort of fine with it not going below 0.7 ohms. Like the looks and love the accuracy (just saw Phil’s review on it). As someone who has 2 Provari’s (a 2.0 and a 2.5) I have every confidence that the build quality and support/customer service will continue to be at the high quality Provape is known for. I could even live with the price.

What I can’t live with is a single button interface for a complex menu coupled with a dinky small screen. After seeing menu operations in detail in Phil’s review, this is not an interface I could live with. Was really excited about a v3 Provari when it was first announced, but going to give this a pass.

Well I did buy one. It is my first Provari. I love it!

Yes it is expensive for what it is, but I am lucky enough to be in a position to be able to afford it. The Wizard Evolved DNA20 was released only last year, was more expensive and had less features.

With the latest batch of high performing clearos that have been released lately, I find myself using them more and more. The Provari is perfectly suited to power them.

The P3 is definitely a quality piece, it just feels great, and although the button is not the clicky type I'm used to, works well. The menu is a pain at first, but now I've got used to it, it's no problem at all.

I am very happy with my purchase. It was bought with a purpose in mind. I do own higher wattage devices, both VW and mechanical, they also have their place.

Vaping will continue to evolve (no pun intended) and new devices will continue to be released. My next purchase will be a DNA40, which will again have it's own niche.

One thing I'm sure of though, in 3 or 5 years, when my Vamo, IPV, and Chana are dead, the P3 will still be firing............

The P3 is also upgradable according to the product description. So 20 watts now maybe 30 or 40 down the road without needing to buy another device.

Love my P2.5. It is a workhorse that will last for years to come. Can't say the same thing about 95% of the Chinese mods out there on the market. As far as the P3 I would consider it if it weren't for the price. 20w is plenty for me. My Vaporshark only sees over 20w when I drip on rare occasions. Choices are what makes vaping great. There is a mod out there to fit everyone's wants and needs.

I thought electronic shit was supposed to get cheaper with time, like a CD player or whatnot. This shit is starting to hit some pretty outrageous numbers. I mean, there even some clones of different mods out there for 150 bucks.

Price and Provarinati fanboyism taken out of the picture:

The innokin SVD2 vs P3: I would go with the P3, looks less like a lava-lamp dildo.
The Wizard DN20 vs P3: It comes down to 21mm vs 23.5mm, so I would rather have too big of a diameter than too small.
Eleaf vs P3: If I only used clearomizers, probably the eleaf due to its size and ease of use. If I only used Kayfuns, then would take the P3, especially with the new hybrid compatible version coming out

So yeah, I guess I would take the P3 over the other options, but now put price back in the picture, and the DNA40 looks like an even better bargain ;)
Put provarinati in the picture, heck, I would rather have a vamo v1 lol

Yes i'm sure the Provari will still be working, where i think your wrong is to assume the others will not be (except the Vamo). The iPV's have top notch chips and should last a very long time.

The Sigs with the YiHi chips should last a very long time as well.

Got to be yourself whether others think your an" a hole "or not , altering your behavior because your concerned how others may view you is always a lessen in futility .

You'll never be happy in life trying to be something your not , be yourself and let the chips fall where they may , would rather be hated for being myself than liked for something i'm not.

Just saw the busardo review on this. That menu system is terrible. 4-5 Cloupor DNA's vs 1 Provari P3. Why would anyone buy this with all of the other options out there? Someone in combat that accidentally runs this over with a tank?

Amen. Even if I wasn't a broke-ass college student and had money to burn on as many mods as I wanted I don't think I'd buy this. Don't see the appeal. You could get a VaporFlask V2 for around the same amount that would have more capabilities and look much better.
