title says it all. I'm new to vaping rocking a vision spinner 2 and I want to upgrade. which is going to be more satisfying. I'm also using the new aspire nautilus tank. Thinking seriously of getting a kayfun to try a rba.

thanks in advance

If you like building coils, experimenting, and you want to try low resistance to get huge clouds, then you'll end up limited by the ProVari - you'll want higher power. You might even outgrow 30 and want 50 or 80...

But if you're looking for something that's just rock solid reliable, and simple/easy, then I think the ProVari is the best there is if you're happy with about 1 ohm or up coils.

Heck, you COULD get something like an MVP2 ($40) to hold your Kayfun, while you learn to rebuild, and decide whether you're going to go sub-ohm or not. It's a decent backup to have too...

It really depends on what you want to do, what you feel is missing from your vape, and how technically versed you are.

Personally, if this is your first dive into rebuildables, and you want to buy something that will always be 'ole reliable', then a kayfun and the provari is for you. Provape has been around for a long time, and their product is reliable and an excellent staple. Even if you venture out to broader and different things, the provari / kayfun combo will always be a solidly legit combo. Don't just take my word for it, Phill Basardo the widely known you tube reviewer has said multiple times that if he had to choose only one setup to use forever for vapeing, he would have a provari / kayfun combo. It will give you decent flavor, reliability, and clouds. Keep in mind that there is a new version of the provari in the horizon.nit will probably be out in the next few months. The rumors are that this is going to add some more features and flexibility to the units that make others think of the provari as 'outdated'.

If you want to chase clouds, or buy a bunch of different attys to experiment with builds you see rip trippers do, then getting a DNA 30 is going to give you some more options and flexibility. I'm not saying these things are 'bad' per say, but you can start out slowly with a 'typical' ~1.0 ohm coil on a kayfun on a DNA 30 and be completely satisfied, and then one day say... Hummm... I want to try that bad ass looking coil build on a new dripping atomizer I saw on you tube that comes out to .5 ohms. You can do that with a DNA and probably be much more satisfied than you would with the CURRENT provari.

If you want to do SERIOUS cloud chasing and win cloud contests, then a DNA is a good starting point, but you are going to be limited quickly as you delve into super low sub ohm builds in the .2 or lower range. You won't have near the capabilities a mech mod with a dripping atty is going to allow you to do.

Hope this helps.

I have lots of gear, but the ProVari is my rock solid device. I have never had one fail and I can put anything on it from a Protank to a Rüzgar (my current favorite RTA; it's like a Kayfun) that I build with about a 1.3Ω coil. I like having a consistent device I can vape while figuring out more advanced equipment.

I own a DNA 30 works good but you cannot go below .5 ohms. The controller will not recognize it's there. Phipp13

I just returned 4 Provari. Two P3s and 2 P 2.5 Dragons. They were delivered in shit boxes with shit styrofoam, not what you would expect for a $300 dollar military grade, titanium 'stealth' mod. I examined all of them and was pissed as hell. I emailed them in a fury. I'm getting my $850+ back. Not worth it if you're not going to use it all the time. Even if performance is good, why? Go with the DNA. Or, with one of the first edition you can get on sale anywhere. Oh...now provape has the dragon on sale for $29.95 vs. the 75 I paid a few weeks ago. Great looking mod. I may pick it up again at that price just to have it and try it. I really laid it out for them and they didn't like it a bit. I'm watching the postal delivery and credit so I can grab that 2.5 dragon on clearance. lol
