I just purchased my first set of hardware. I got a Reuleaux RX200 for my mod, and an Arctic V8 for my tank. I was looking at temperature control, which is the route I think I want to go, but I'm pretty sure the Arctic V4 quad coil's clapton wire is made from kanthal. The RX200 only supports SS, Ti, and Ni. SO my thought is I can take the V4 casing and just rebuild it using a stainless steel wire.
My question is, if I use the casing the V4 has, and replace the Clapton coil with Stainless Steel coil, would that be the same as just having stainless? Or does the material that the casing is made out of matter too? I honestly don't know what the housing is made from.
I'm totally new to all this, I'm completely new to vaping. But I thought it would be great to just do my own coils and rebuild 4 or 5 v4 coils every month and only spend a few bucks on wire and cotton than to be purchasing complete replacements every month.
