Hello, I was wondering what your PG tastes like or should taste like. I mean as in sticking ur finger in the bottle and tasting finger. i am under the understanding it should be relatively tasteless. the reason I ask this is because I recently purchased some PG from dudadiesel. I messed up and bought a product called inhibited PG. iv done research and am getting contradicting answers. iv mixed up two batches and they both taste horrible but I was thinking it could be because they were not normal recipes of mine just recipes I was messing around on. and I tasted the pg on my finger straight from the bottle and it definitely has a strong weird unfriendly taste. almost like a warm burning metallic sensation. thanks in advance for any information. if you don't know about the inhibited pg then simply telling me pg should be tasteless is enough to guide me in my conclusion of this PG being definitely very very bad to use lol. thanks again in advance.

PG should taste slightly sweet but less so than VG. It shouldn't have a funky taste (doens't have much taste at all).

I'm with Amanda that it doesn't have much taste at all, but I do know what you mean about the warmth of it. I've never gotten a metallic taste from PG. Some definitely have tasted worse than others. I've read good things about dudadiesel, so I might try to find people that order from them. Or contact the company and ask them the difference.

If you're not sure about it, don't use it til you know for sure. I've been getting mine from Bull City Vapor.

It has an additive to prevent corrosion, since PG is a non-toxic antifreeze (as opposed to toxic Ethylene Glycol)

Pretty well all cooling systems use metal parts, so inhibiting corrosion lowers maintenance costs
