Question: Are these TC coils or can they be used on watts?

I was buying some stuff from Fast tech last month and bought some pre-made coils along with my wire in case i was in a rush and did not have time to make some. I was kinda stupid and did not do any real research on them and on a vape page i am on Facebook, they linked some like these and said they are no good at all for anything and are Temp Control which i do not mess with as i have heard its a hassle and not as good as watts. Can anyone please tell me if these are Temp Control or can i use them on watts on regulated mod or unregulated mod please. Also if I was told wrong on temp control being no good if anyone could point me in a area to find some good information about them to learn more would be helpful as well Thanks i will leave link in bottom for the coils in question

Those are SS Notch coils. You can use them safely in wattage or TC mode. They ramp up super quick so start off at a lower wattage than you normally would and work your way up to a vape you like and enjoy.

Well , from what little I know about reg devices, is that you can use any type of wire in VV and VW mode.

For use in Temp Control you do have to use certain wires for TC to work.

Geez, I AM getting OLD... I m so glad I have all the gear, wire etc for the rest of my life... Im too old, my hands hurt, constant headaches, I just want to pop a coil in, vape. Everything is getting so complicated....

BUMPING this up with "old people" crap for bumps sake...I hope someone who knows something will come by and help you.

Found this, its funny but I think it give some good information

Thank you for such a quick answer my friend. One last thing i usually vape regulated at aroun 80-110 watts how low should i start it at?
Those are .2 ohms. I'd start off at like 50 or 60 watts and take it from there. Like I said Notch coils are known for ramping up much more quickly than a traditional coil.

you can't use ni200 or Ti wire in VW or VV mode. those are for TC only.
Kanthal and Nicrhome are pretty much VW/VV only
SS and NiFe are good for both TC and VW/VV mode

Thank you, I learned something relevant.... I guess when Ti came out, over at ECF there was a certain modder going on about the health benefits of Ti over Kanthal, and at that time I dont think GG had regulated devices, but I might be wrong since I tend to ignore his usual rantings :)

I use 28g 3156L SS on my mechs and simple VW and VV devices.

thanks Sir RichardRear :)
