Quick Battery Question

So I have an SMOK Alien 220 TC, have had it for about two months everything stock, though recently I decided to buy a new tank. Ended up with the Valyrian by Uwell. Anyways realized it had TC so I decided to give it a try. Set it up, if I have done it correctly, 100 W, 400 F, ohms is 0.185. Anyways, it ended up killing my batteries VERY quickly, however the indicator said half full. So I figured it to be calibrated wrong, the batteries. Put them on the charger, finished charing in about three hours half, usually takes around six. Is the reason I was getting the low battery because the battery could no longer supply sufficient power for my settings? Do I have the wrong batteries, or are my settings wrong?? My batteries are 18650 lg hg2. Usually when I vape on wattage mode my batteries last around 212 puffs, five-seven days. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

If you are using the Valyrian in TC, wrong! It is a Kanthal coil, for TC, SS, Ni only.

Well then oops, so then what happens now?? Did I break anything??? Also how come it allowed me to go into TC mode, usually it kicks you back to wattage doesn't it?

Yep, bespeaks of the mod, the Alien is known as not having good TC, worst case it could be dangerous battery wise, be that it didn't alert to a non temp coil. Try it in power, possibly fried the cotton in the coil, I don't think you broke anything, but could explain why your batteries drained so quickly.

I switched back to wattage mode, and everything seems fine, in terms of coil operation, time will tell on the batteries but they are most likely fine iono. I think the batteries just took a charge at 50% life left no deal. I was only trying TC anyways because I heard the coil could handle it (guess not) and that it is supposed to give better flavor. With Uwell, I always go to their site and check the specs on their coils, I have not sprung for the Valyrian because of the Kanthal Coils, I like TC. I will say the Crown 1 and 3 both do great TC.

After you mentioned they were Kanthal Coils I double checked their website, and you are indeed correct. I mention this because I swear to pickles that I found on a few websites claiming it could do TC. However I have been unable to find this aha, so must have been sleepy I guess? Not really sure what I was thinking. I plan to invest into another mod as soon as possible, really unsure when, will look for something with TC, or just start building coils, this will likely be a year or longer. Far too new at the moment to attempt anything other then filling the tank?? Sometimes I need help with that even.
