I don't generally make coils that small, but I use CB all the time. Just speculating here, but seems CB might be a bit to fluffy to get enough of it through such a small ID. You might try good old fashioned pads like KGD whose fibers are more densely packed.

I use unrolled cotton ball.. I just peal off a bit about 3 to 4x bigger than the coil. Lightly roll into cylinder twist an end insert and pull through. .

I forget bit aren't Evod heads the old protank style????

Pretty much, I think the height is slightly different.

I always built those as single verticle coil. Ie Aspire Nauti BVC style. Wicked with stuffed cotton fiber...... I quit smoking using a Protank 3 on a mech with a kick using NET juice. instead of buying a nautilus... I learned to build coils.

The stopping smoking was kinda an accident.... I just found I like vapor better.

I just built them as horizontal coils. I did however file out the wick slot a bit wider. Worked much better.

Yeah I opened up the channels also...

Never liked the dual coil factory builds but did prefer the dual coil protank atties. Found a 2mm to 2.5mm verticle gave better flavor. If i wanted more clouds then I did horizontal. As they allow for a bit more air flow.

To the OP..... the best vape purchase I have made yet... was upgrading from a clearmizer to a Kayfun 3.1....... a true rebuildable tank...... even though the 3.1 is not my best tank or even best Kayfun.

My best single upgrade has been the Subtank Mini.
Still vape on em after over 1.5 years.
RBA only.
