Insomniac Games has confirmed its re-imagining of the original Ratchet & Clank title for PS4 has been delayed to Spring 2016 to coincide with the release of the upcoming movie.
The news comes courtesy of a post by the studio's chief brand officer Ryan Schneider, though he does make it sound very much like the vision for the game is no longer a simple remastering, but instead something much more expansive.
"Insomniac Games is also hard at work at Ratchet & Clank for the PS4, a re-imagination of the original game that started it all 13 years ago," he writes. "The game, out Spring 2016, re-tells the origin story that ties in closely and expands upon the movie’s narrative.
