Is there any product that can't be improved by marketing it directly toward gamers? It would seem not, as lifestyle brand TUMI has joined forces with Razer to release a new limited-run series of gaming-themed luggage.
This new capsule series consists of four products - a carry-on suitcase, a backpack, a sling bag and a laptop sleeve. All four have been given the full Razer makeover, featuring a distinctive black and neon green aesthetic and designs inspired by esports. Clearly, this new collection is geared towards that Venn diagram of hardcore gamers who need to take their gear on the road, be it for esports competitions or simple business travel. The sling bag and backpack are both designed with cable storage in mind, while the suitcase is designed to provide extra protection for delicate computer equipment.
“We are thrilled to partner with TUMI to bring this exclusive collection to our gaming community,” said Addie Tan, Associate Director of Business Development at Razer, in a press release. “We know that our fans lead active lifestyles and sometimes have to carry their valuable battle stations with them while they are on the go. So, we wanted to arm them with high-quality travel gear, offering them a balance of versatility and functionality so that they can keep winning, even on the go.”
Prices range from $195 for the laptop sleeve to a cool $895 for the suitcase. All four pieces are available to preorder now on Razer's website, as well as TUMI.com and select TUMI retail stores. Fittingly, each item is limited to 1,337 units worldwide.
