AngelCigs has some cheap clones, mods, RBA's, RDA's etc. Not sure how good the quality is but their clone Veritas actually has some pretty good reviews, as well as some of their other gear. I know Grimm Green got a black Panzer clone from them & he said its crap quality, he mentions it in one of his recent videos, can't remember which.

A great question.

I don't wish to sound like a RDA snob, I really don't and I hope you take my comment as intended.

If you want to purchase an RDA with wick and coil ready to go, sorry to say they are not for you.................

Yet.

Very likely you can find one and it is good for a one time use.

And those tend to taste like ASS as they have machine oil in them and God knows what else?

Put off your cloud chasing dreams until you are ready to invest the time and effort to learn to build your own coil and wick assemblies.

It isn't really that hard and well worth it in the long run.

I'm the type to just jump into things til I get it just right. As a guitar repairman I'm sure this wouldn't be very complicated.

If you can rebuild guitars making coil an wick assembles should be a no brainer for you!

Kayfuns are very easy to build and you can find good clones for $20

As UncleRJ said, if you rebuild guitars for a living then I can almost guarantee that rebuilding coils/RDA/RBA's will be NO PROBLEM for you. It might be a bit awkward at first but you'll get the hang of it in not time, especially with the right RDA/RBA. I would suggest you get an RDA that has 3 post with large post holes, that makes building SO MUCH EASIER! Something like the Plume Veil, Tugboat, Lancia, N22 (this one has a sketchy 510 though, may want to weight for the V2) etc. Something like the Veritas, Orgin or Storm-A can be a total PITA to build on & IMHO not good RDA's to start with. I'm sure you know who RiP Trippers is, he's done LOADS of EXCELLENT coil building tutorials that are very comprehensive & his video quality is fantastic. Seriously check out his tuts if your not familiar or comfortable with building coils. You can also get a Building Jig or Coil Wrapping Jig if you need, there are several kinds nowadays & Todd has done reviews on several of them. If you need any specific advice about something that you can't find an answer for yourself & you don't want to start a thread about it then PM me, I'll help you in any way I can.

Assuming you're on a regulated device, get an "Artistic Wire Coiling Gizmo" and assortment of Kanthal A-1 at the same time as your RDA. Watch some video, use Steam Engine, and by the time you've build a dozen coils they should be almost perfect.

I like single coil builds and maximum flavor. Under that RDA price point, I like the mini-A6 ($5.76 at FT). And, at slightly higher price, the Magma ($15.70). Good luck!

Thank you @WilliamC83 ,

We determine to make 1:1 clone only so many other non 1:1 are retired from our site including the black panzer we sent to Grimm Green several months ago. I'm sorry that he doesn't like it. :-( I watched his video too.

Thank you for your recommendation.

I agree with Ron. If you learn how to build your own coils you'll find a new world.

How do you guys feel about a simple 3 post Nimbus clone?
whatever makes ya hapy for me I want max flavor any cloud chasing I do is for fun only thats why I love the Magma and the new Lancia
they are both great for flavor the Lancia is easier to build its in the 25.00 range but worth it I think I grabbed it for 24.99 the Magma is great two but
is more of a pain to build on do to only two posts.. IMHO

Lol.....UncleRJ knows this......I remember the days that I was a tank only guy and I wouldn't touch a rda to save my life. Than I started wanting those large clouds, and I made a choice to get those large clouds no matter what, so I invested a lot of time reading and watching tutorials and talking to people that build their own gear, and before long i bought a rda from a store and the guy taught me how to build my own gear. Now I'm building my own Clapton coils by hand. Trust me putting the time and effort in is well worth it and rewarding that you made your own setup and you are proud of it and you want to share your setup with the world. It took me some time but I eventually got it done to a science......lol.....Build it and the clouds and flavors will come.....for those that like plays on movie quotes.

I 2nd the Lancia! Several of my favorite & most respected reviewers have said it produces fantastic vapor & flavor. There isn't much room for cotton though & if you over drip it will leak out the air holes. So if your looking for a RDA with a large juice/wick capacity then it might not be for you. If you want a RDA that produces great flavor & you don't mind dripping every few vapes then give it a shot. There are several Lancia clones on eBay from $25-$30 shipped. I would choose the one with the best feedback & if the pics on the listing are of the actual clone you are buying then look closely at the machining & threading on the posts & 510, IMHO those are the most important aspects, if the threading is crap it will be a PITA & will only get worse.

Someone was nice enough to give me a tugboat v2 clone to play around with. It does seem to have a nice deep well in it too
